It really is. In that top pick the movement in the wood almost makes it look like there are finger grooves in the wood.

I've already said it once, but I think the knife turned out beautifully. Good job.

Yesterday I turned out a sheath for this dagger. I don't plan on giving this one away, but I had some spare leather and spare time, and decided it was time to add a bit more closure to some older projects. Not the prettiest sheath I've ever made, but it fits like a glove and hangs the handled to the right height for easy access.
