Hi there! I saw a member posting on the "Recent Additions" thread he just got a Spanish Slipjoint, a "Pallares" brand pocket knife.

I must say I have and use them a lot, since they are handmade a few miles from where I live. I love 'em. The older one of these three (uess which one it is?) is riding in my pocket today side to side with my locking folder and mini multitools.

Great classic Spanish navajas, these Pallares. They remind me a lot of my good old Opinels, which I also EDC a lot!
Or Seattle? About the same...........................
It occurs to me that quite frequently on weekends I dress down so to speak wearing sweat pants, real comfy for a full time sitter.
But horrible for anything one normally (I know define normal) would wear on the belt like IBBB's, 1911's, etc.
I generally still have the ankle rig but quite frequently neglect to wear it, guess I'm getting soft and careless.
I figure all the more reason to get me one of Spectre's Always Ready Knives. Usually on the weekends is when I need a knife the most and don't have one without digging in my front bag. The ARK would solve that wicked quick.
Hoping to get a few, my Marine for sure with Spectres guidance and my son and son in law, and myself of course. One works for the railroad and the other is a long haul trucker. Both not allowed in most instances to travel in sheep mode IE: nekkid. Truck driver can usually get away depending on where he's going, much of the east coast and of course California kind of iffy.
If I come into some money (not likely) I order a few to donate to military guys getting deployed. Gotta take care of our troops.
I haven't had anything in H1 yet...my endura (vg10) and PM2 (s35vn) are both a little brown in spots from carrying them doing hill sprints and such-my little Perrin shark is too.Well, most of us hopefully aren't in high-risk situations, but a rust-proof knife is useful.![]()
Zip ties...or of the 1" wide compact rolls of 100mph/Gorilla tape. Got the idea from a friend of mine who was DIA downrange, and got a fair amount of use out of it.Shav: Zip TiesGirl why didnt I think of that! I aint messing with you! Anybody prepared to restrain multiple persons is OK in my book:thumbup: Im gonna add a few of them to my collection as well.
