dude, awesome shelter. Then only thing i dont like is the size. it seems a bit bit, and as Jeff himself says, "only make shelter enough for the people needing it"
 
Fantastic Lean-to! That grass will work great! Looks like you and your boy had a great time. South Central PA looks pretty darn nice this time of year. Beautiful pups too!

Thanks guy's, we had a good time doing it. I did make it bigger than necessary just as a place to hang out but I did think about closing in the front this Fall maybe as an experiment on how warm it would be or how to heat it.

I don't think the size is really an issue. Theres different types of shelters and I'm thinking you built this one with sun and rain in mind. It"ll do well for those conditions.

Best part is, you'll get some use out of yours. The wife went into the forest, cut down alot of shrub, built her shelter, took her pics and walked away.

That's alot of waste, but yours will get used. Good on you.

Yea, the Mrs. seems to be collecting up all kinds of nice leather that's made for wrong handed people lately.:grumpy:
