Another new GEC pattern - 65 Ben Hogan

Another one posted, amber jigged bone

That's a nice looking one, too

That mother-of-bowling-ball material looks rather nice. Lends an old timeyness overall.

TSA Knives just posted this one to their blog:

It's not the best angle to see it, but it seems to stick up very slightly.

Yes it does look like the tang sticks up from this angle. I hope not.
Why make a copperhead and not hide the tang? Is there any other reason for a bulging bolster?

I agree that's the main reason, but it also acts like a guard when open, to keep your fingers off the blade edge.

Some more Northfields are up. Notice they don't have the Ben Hogan etch of the Tidioutes.

is it more a copperhead or a backpocket?
seems competitive to case's backpocket knife released not long a go

would make a great user knife imo
love the amber, grizzly and surprisingly the ebony one

i'm really hoping for member pics since they are vastly superior to dist. photos. i think this will be a good blend between the pioneer & the slim trappers. more reach for the outdoors bunch but really portable for our less fortunate brothers stuck in the urban areas.--dennis

Dennis, I'm not so frotunate to be able to carry something like this
maybe in "working" occasions I may justified, but this "over 4" knife just calls me, like 9/10 of the GECS..

have a nice day

Greg over at TSA has expressed the opinion that this would be an ideal pattern to have a Lockback variant. I certainly agree given its length and slimness, would make me want to get one anyway! Some decent handle choices are offered on this knife (except perhaps that Gold Acrylic which looks like funkadelic sandpaper...)

Yep. He also posted some good comparison pics with a #23. I'd post a link but not sure if allowed...

Dennis, it looks like you're right on when you say it's a Pioneer combined with the Slim Trapper
