In Oregon, all you need are two requests made of your attending physician, two witnesses with nothing to gain to sign off that you really want to die, and two concurring physicians to sign off that you are terminal and not crazy and then you can have someone help you off yourself legally via prescription barbiturate overdose.

I voted for this act twice (it was targeted for repeal by pro-life forces) because it shouldn't be against the law to check out if you wish to, even if you require someone to give you the glass of water that makes it possible to overdose yourself.

LOL! Funny thing is that if you want to die you are considered mentally I'll regardless of your situation in some places.
