Another scammer?

I would also suggest that there are a couple of people who still owe Wolfsnagle at least the courtesy of an acknowledgement that they were well and truly wrong when they gathered the pitch forks and lit a torch.... many who were early in their condemnation have (much to their credit) but it would be nice at least to see the rest. Like many here I do truly appreciate the passion of this community when it comes to dealing with issues but it does, too often I suspect, seem that conclusions are reached waaay to quick. This thread proves to be a perfect example of that, this applied to both defenders and detractors (speaking generally now, not just this thread). There are some lessons here for all of us.

I wanted to wait until ALL of the evidence came out (hopefully- we won't be blindsided with any further, bizarre twists in this crazy saga), before offering my sincerest apologies. I can't imagine how frustrating these experiences have been for you considering everything you've been through: the language barrier (English not being your first language), International transaction, the misfortune of choosing 2 notorious scammers (Hurrey & Sylvia), & facing the realization that you've most likely been scammed out of possibly TWO, expensive knives!

Because of what transpired with that other member (Harris), and the emails/PM's that I exchanged with him, I was guilty of prejudging you in your claims against, knifehunt. It's no excuse, but until you exposed knifehunt for what he truly is (a scammer), I personally questioned your credibility. Knifehunt put on a great performance, & without a doubt had quite a few of us here, fooled! As we often state in our judicial system: "a person is presumed innocent, until proven guilty." As this thread clearly demonstrates- the same should always apply, here in the GBU.

Because of your due diligence & perseverance, you were able to expose knifehunt for who/what he truly is & prevent other BF member's (& other knife forum member's) from being further victimized. This speaks volumes about your character! :thumbup::thumbup: And for this, I & most likely everyone else here, are very thankful for!

Heck, it's surprising that I too wasn't victimized. I recently sent knifehunt 2 PM's offering to pay his asking price for his Edge Pro sharpening system. Fortunately, because of our disagreement in the ParkerTelmo GBU thread (shipping in a box versus an envelope), he didn't respond to my PM's. What's funny is, this thread is the very first time that he's acknowledged me, since that other GBU thread. :rolleyes:

It's apparent, that these 2 notorious scammer's, felt that you'd be an easy target because of the facts listed above, along with Customs, & the fact that you wouldn't be able to track the package, once it left your Country (your word against theirs). You did an excellent job detailing & articulating the facts & presenting a rock solid case against, Michael Sylvia! :thumbup:

You're absolutely right, Andy. I don't believe I actually accused Wolfsnagle of being a liar, but I certainly stood up for KnifeHunt's integrity. Essentially, I did question the legitimacy of the OP's claim and for that I sincerely apologize.
 
So knifehunt rode off into the sunset with another high dollar knife. Only to strike again under a different name.

This is even more difficult to do if a person is using an international network proxy service. You can make it appear that you are in whatever country you want.

Good job. I most likely don't need to mention this, but watch the back door. He will very likely try to sneak back in IMO.

This is some sort of sickness for him-over 3 years and 1095 posts to steal a SnG doesn't make a lot of sense. He would have been better off panhandling on the street corner. Not that any of that matters on Wolfs end.

I feel so bad for wolfsnagel I'd be more than happy to kick in a few bucks if anyone wants to take up a collection to send him.
 
I was thinking the same thing TS. Would love to try and tighten the Wolf up.

OP what knIves did you lose ? I saw you sent a strider but what we're you expecting in return? Would you rather have a strider or the knives you traded for? If so what were they?
