Any Cigar Smokers Out There?

Daaaang!!! That's a nice sized humidor! I'm jealous man that thing is awesome. I just have two 30-40 stick humidors. How many will yours hold? Like 1000?

Yes sir, It is supposed to hold 1200 although i have never had close to that many in there.

that might be the understatement of the year. I think that might be larger than my first apartment. Wow, that is beautiful and by the looks of it well stocked. Really wishing Texas wasn't so far from new Hampshire :D

Some of the cigars in there are over 15 years old, good cigars age well. If you ever make it up this way look me up, i have a nice selection of scotch to go with them :)

It looks like its well stocked. Man that's the nicest humidor I've seen in a house. I've seen walk in humidors and big one like that in stores but never in a private home. Ill say it again... Man I'm jealous!! :)

Punches are my favorite... the Punch Punch Dark Prince is by at the top of my list... The Arturo Fuente Hemingway short story would be my second.

Natural, they say the Cubans are the best... (the dark prince is only from Cuba) but the Panamanians up there too. The few that Dominicans I've had were a bit oily.

I am enjoying one of my favorites right now with some coffee.

Don't ever try Cuban cigars!!! I used to smoke a cigar here and there. Then while on vacation I tried a cohiba panatella. Smoothest cigar I have ever had. I have been disappointed by every cigar I have smoked since the Cohibas. Just last week I tried a Romeo by Romeo. Recently ranked just behind the Cohibas - it didn't even compare.

Gargle some acid, that'll take the Cuban out lol...

Honestly I've found that there are many cigars out there that are comparable to the Cubans, you just have to go out and find them. I've found that I like a Panamanian, Dominican and Nicaraguan sticks more than most Cubans. I prefer cigars with bold earthy tones and a light oily leave

Cubans use to be leagues above everyone else. Back when the government took over the cigar business there in Cuba a lot of the tobacco barons fled to other countries in the Caribbean... because they didn't want the government touching their money. That has brought us a lot of very good cigars that can compete with cigars rolled in Cuba. A lot of the factories in the Caribbean and Latin America have Cuban roots. But, Cuban cigars, certain brands and certainly not all of the makers there, are still numero uno simply because Cuba has the best climate for the tobacco.

finishing off a Nat Sherman hermoso. Overall a nice stick though had to do a couple relights. Could be my inexperience though so can't blame the cigar. Ordered a variety online from usacigarstore.com. Have a special of 15 percent off $45 or more purchase.

Try some La Flor Dominicana Ligero's or 2000 series, great cigars and Litto is really putting out some of the best tobacco in the world right now with LFD. My old time favorites are any, I repeat, ANY Padron. 5000,6000, 1926 serie, 1964 anniversary. Rocky's are good but sometimes have QC issues and Romeo's are pretty consistent. Alec Bradley is another great brand with some stellar lines, and pace yourself. There are tons of brands and lines out there.

OK, I wanted to wait until I got everything checked out.

Seriously, these knock the socks off any Romeo & Julietta, 20 year aged Macanudo, Cuban, or other cigar I ever smoked....even the two boxes of Pinar3000's I purchased from the original batch.
I just had a friend give me a whole box of R&J's, but with the shipment of VIRum's coming tomorrow, they will likely all still be in the humidor at Ashokan. When I told him I found out how to get the VIRum's again, he ordered 50, too.
