Thank you.
Their side profiles are identical - the same length & height, blade profiles, split ring attachment location but the Cadet is much thinner, probably about 2/3 as thick.
By just holding them, the Recruit feels a little lighter but I could be completely wrong. I will need to weigh them or look up the specs. Either way, not a significant difference, both are very light.
The Cadet has the small nail file where the Recruit has a small blade. And the Recruit obviously has the toothpick and tweezers.
The Alox scales line up better to the springs than the Cellidor. Running my finger across the spine and the front, the Cadet is smooth but I feel ridges on the Cellidor scales where they extend slightly above the liners and springs. The liners on the the Recruit line up well to the springs, so it is only the scales that don't. It is not significant enough to feel it when I press straight down on the spine, only when I run my finger across the spine when changing grips for example.
The Cellidor scales are smooth and polished where the Alox are textured.
I don't really have a strong preference of one over the other but I think I will carry the Recruit more because in use I prefer the slightly thicker profile of the Recruit.
