This is great news. I had previously been interested in getting the sheepfoot version of the latest HJ, but the red micarta just wasn't my cup of tea. The cocobolo, on the other hand...

I got a jigged bone and a cocobolo, not even sure what shields - I just clicked the first two and ran with it!

Well... I could have actually got one when looking a moment ago. That means it's not the normal frenzy of madness. One wasn't ordered because of the value placed on my current relationship with the Mrs, but I could have.....That is a new thing for me with these haut cutlery offerings, actually being able to get one.

Maybe jacking the price up is a good thing. Perhaps they will make a congress someday.

Haha I just "invested" in two new A Wrights and a forum knife. My accounts manager feels like further investments of that amount would be counterproductive at this time.

If I recall correctly, I believe that is for Ohio Valley Cutlery - which is the company that owns the M&G trademark.

These are really nice, I am at work and didn’t realize they were dropping, I thought they would all be gone for sure but I was able to grab the one I wanted the jigged bone variant, this and the forum knife this year are the only ones I have been able to grab this year but I am happy

I'm definitely more a fan of the federal shields. My only M&G has the federal shield so when I think M&G I typically think of that shield.

Federal shield has to be one of my least preferred.
