Any news about Maher & Grosh?

Are the satin finished ones more desirable? I also noticed that they sold out first. Just wondering…

I was quite torn between the bone and the Cocobolo but ultimately went with the bone and spear because it seemed the most different from the Ebony Waynorth HJ and the Red Linen Micarta Tidioute HJ I picked up recently. Lots of firsts in this one for me - first M&G, first bone #86, and first jigged #86!

As Jsega51 Jsega51 mentioned, I think the spear shield goes really well with the punch - both aesthetically and conceptually. Plus, I think that, with what appears to be a similar jigging pattern, it will make a nice pairing with the 2023 BF forum knife!

I had so many wood covers with fed shields on Angus Jacks, etc... ended up ordering both "favorite" jigged variants (antique yellow) with first choice being the spear shield. No way I have as many 86's as I do 15's but I bet 86's are #2 now with 3 more incoming. The punch is just cool.

I wrote to them a while ago, they said they'll send email notifications when another release will happen. Never received any.

I think most members here prefer polished blades. My guess is that there were less of the satin ones made so they went OOS first.

52 of the Cocobolo Spears left.
39 of the Cocobolo Federals left.

I hope these get bought up soon because I:

a) already have a bone/spear on the way, and

b) absolutely do not have the scratch for another one, regardless of how gorgeous (and tempting) they are. 😭
 
How are these still around? This is a pretty fantastic pattern and combo for M&G!

I'm with you that these look pretty fantastic - at the same time, they really only showed up on my radar a few days before the release.

I'm going with "all of the above" but I believe 1 & 2 are primary causes with 3,4, & 5 in support roles.
 
How are these still around (rhetorical q)? They are very nice.

Sell out already! So far I have resisted. I snagged both Ebony and Bone Riders as well as the red linen sheep. I have enough punch 86s from this run, as nice as these are.
 
I usually go for clips, but wasn't feeling the Riders so stayed away.
Something about the coco, tooth shield, and this blade configuration got me.
I ordered it just like 30 min ago too! How is that even possible with a GEC made knife this pretty?
Seriously one of the best M&Gs I've ever seen.
