Any news about Maher & Grosh?

I almost got jigged bone gec m&g,but was then notified usa only.i wonder do they open options out of the states some times.

For you that were able to snag a jigged bone, what pattern does it most resemble from the gec patterns.

It is on the 86 frame if that is what you mean
Yes,I was going by size and going through gec patterns, the 3 7/8" I had,but the end bolsters threw me off.was thinking 72 without lockback.

What is the big site people say the flippers use immediately after buying something,I know that things can't be mentioned, but spoken in code.keep in mind i am not computer savvy and don't have fb,ig,ebay or redt.and do not want to know to go out and purchase, just curious

Sounds a lot like eBay - a hive of villainy.

So there are some people that purchased these knives, then posted them on ebay at double the price while they were still available at retailers. Unbelievable. I'm glad I don't have an acct there or what ever it is to shop there. I was fortunate to purchase a few older knives from wayworth, then you trust what you are getting.

Believe it. It's called "flipping" and even though I bear a consistent message of overwhelming love, tolerance, forgiveness, and compassion - none of that applies to flippers. They deserve nothing but a pox on their houses and the grand and ancient curses of the old gods, but I digress...

Congrats on your purchases from Waynorth - y'all got a secret Canadian handshake or something? I'll move if that's what it takes... 🤣

No secret handshake, but he gets to borrow my snow shovel any time.

I mean, NO ONE has to buy anything there. There are lots of knives that are not flipped and are just being sold and also lots of brick and mortar or just people with business licenses and an online store using EBAY, etc... if you don't know not to buy 80% of the GEC on EBAY or have too much money to care, then so be it. I buy lots of knives on EBAY and lots of times the best price from a dealer is there. I personally hate when someone buys up drops just to resell whether it is electronics or bathroom supplies or knives. EBAY is not bad in itself if you know how to navigate it with a little common sense... just like Amazon or Walmart or whatever online store front - flippers flock to them all.

Another thing to keep in mind is people want to recoup what they have into an item especially if it is no longer available and that's the only way a buyer can get one now... why would the seller have to lose money on a high demand item that's rare AF now? On something like a M&G that costs $230 to ship originally, the seller could add 15% (roughly the PAYPAL and EBAY FEES) and $10 to ship it, list it at $275... then the buyer pays tax. $300 would not be robbery on EBAY, in my opinion. Also this math makes EBAY just about the last resort for most smart buyers and sellers if they have access to today's forums and groups. GECS or similar may actually be an exception sometimes since a seller trying to recoup $50 on a 2015 sodbuster or something similar, may do just fine and still offer the buyer a great deal.

I was just amused at the fact that these knives were still available at retailers (except out side the states)and someone saw them on eBay at double the price.i would think that as someone was interested in this m&g drop they would know, but I guess not always.i also understand that alot of people don't have an option to buy them or any gec knife except at exorbitant prices on the flipper market.i guess if you want it.

There’s three types of eBay knife sellers. There are dealers, flippers, and collectors. We know about the first two. In a lot of cases, collectors will list some of their knives at “you can have it prices.” They usually don’t sell, but once in a while an ignorant or desperate buyer will bite.
