Any plinkers?

Xbxb, those old Remington Nylon 66 rifles are the cat's meow! I have several now, and they are keepers. All but one are the brown and blued variety, but one is the black and chromed version. My wife has a couple of the Nylon 77 models with the green stocks and box magazines. Great little rifles!

Old Remington Nylon. I can't wear it out.

Got one sitting next to me right now :D
A 77 , my first .22 . The springs tired and I think some young kid put oil in the action when it started getting stickey
I hope to get a fresh set of inards for it one day. Lots of bricks and milk cartons of rounds through it
What Nylon model do you have ?
I'd love to try a 76

Had to drill a couple hole's in the receiver.
Kind of a hack job but it works.

Aha now I see! I wondered how you mounted six holes worth of stuff in 4 holes. I might have to do that, it looks great.

Some good plinking targets:

cans
plastic bottles (not glass)
vanilla wafers and other cookies
saltines and other crackers
necco wafers
clay birds

one fun trick I do is get small plastic cups and fill them with water. when you hit them with a .22 you'll know it!.

I've set them out 100 yds and had contests to see who hits one first.

My plinker's:

Ruger 10/22
Ruger single six revolver
NEF .17hmr

All are great guns, and useful to have around for food gathering purposes too.
