Any progress on KITH2005 knives?

I didn't get mine done.
I have all the parts made and ready for heat treat but I have not had time to build a new forge since I moved so my guy gets another knife I already had done.
No cordwrapping on this one. Sorry Mark. :D I'll have something in the mail for you this week.

Mines nearing completion...but it MIGHT be a few days late. I think I spent to much time learning how to grind. :grumpy: If everything goes perfectly it will be on time. I have to take a few days and travel to check on my Dad.

I don't want to rush this, now that it's actually looking like a knife. :) I know if I push it I'll just muck it up and I don't want to do that. Matt deserves the best that I can do. I've emailed him of the situation and I'm hoping that he's patient.

No problem. Can't wait to see it. I should have mine out in a couple of days to Brian. Hope everyone has had a good time doing this. I have.

I've been fighting my computer all weekend. Didn't get it in the mail after all. Finally got the computer whupped and pictures scanned. Will head for the post office in the morning. Sorry about the delay Scott :grumpy:

I made big progress this week. Just need to finish, heat treat, refinish, attach scales, finish scales, and make a sheath! Ouch! Mine is going out about a week late. Loser...

Who do we send pics to? Or are we just gonna do a thread here again this year? Either way works for me. I've got pics, just let me know what to do with them :)

Well, after plan "A" was a bust I thought about plan "B" for a while then decided to skip right over it and go to plan "C"

Mark, I'll tell you this now so you don't get your hopes up.....it's not a "big" chopper, but I hope you will like it just the same. It will however have stabilized, differentialy heat colored, high resolution CP-04 handle scales ;)
I got to make a sheath for it and out it goes......couple more days.
Mace

I'm glad you like it Steve. :) I hope you can put it to use on your elk hunting trips.

Can Paul email me about receiving his knife? Thanks
I'll hold onto it untill he emailes me........

Cant beat high res CP-04 for handle material. I'm sure it will be nice. Does the stabilizing kill the smell ? :D

I was with Larry Nowicki last nite at the knife club meeting and saw his KITH knife he recieved. Very cool knife. :) Also got to see the hawk he has been working on. It's looking real good. ;)

finally getting going on mine I thought I would have to drop out just too many things to do.

Hey Tom. Great knife. Like it a lot. Thanks.
Hope to finish mine soon and I hope Mace likes it.

I dont have the list in front of me. Who is supposed to be getting theirs from my recipient? I want to hear from them before I send mine. Havent taken a picture yet. looks like a hawk for the most discerning of pimps.
