Any recommendations for a good budget combat knife?

I've already got a Becker BK7. I'd only bring the second knife as a backup, although I don't really see the BK7 ever breaking on me, especially since I don't put it through anything it can't handle. The BK7 is also capable of being used for combat, although I'm looking for something more geared towards combat specifically.

The BK7 isn't just capable of combat use. Ethan Becker specifically designed it to replace the Ka-Bar, but the USMC didn't go for it. For the money, I'd take the BK7 any day.

A BK7 would be a good choice. But by a leather or kydex replacement sheath.

If you still looking for combat knife per se: I can recommend to you Russian Kyzliar manufacturer, definitely worth to look at, check also Kyzliar Supreme and A.R.Zlatoust all three are making a lot of knives designed for military

Recently I got two military combat knives from Kyzliar and they will blow your mind, guaranteed. Fit and finish to high tolerances, these are no mass production but handcrafted and within your budget.
