Update?

I posted on the main forum today that I sent VG a care package today---nothing big but just to let him know we still are thinking of him. Like I said on the other post no matter how little you think what you're doing for Dave is, it is huge to him. Please send notes, cards, small little gifts, etc. If I had any gothic rodent porn I would send that but I am all out. ;)
 
Packing up/shipping this monitor is a little harder than I thought.
It would not fit into my car!

I am going to have to get help from a friend this weekend. I will get it out, but V.G. will not have it until next week.

I just got off the phone with VG, wondering where the heck he was?
He has moved, same town, but new address. He has done a change of address at the Post Office.I have his new address if anyone needs it.

GUS, he hasn't received the monitor, and he's lost the DSL Tracking # you gave him. He also asks that if you call him to please leave a phone number where he can reach you. Besides no monitor he still has no internet connection, but he's working on it.

He's still in a lot of pain with his shoulder, he needs an operation on it. The good news is that he is now getting Dissability and the operation when he has it will be covered.

He asked me to thank you all again and I told him, "Screw you, get online and thank them all yourself!" Heck, he's got Alisha babying him he don't need me doing it too.

Just got off the phone with VG. He hopes to have the newly donated PC up & running soon. His left hand is real weak & will have a hard time typing. SO we may not see the long manifestos & rants we all long to read. Bottom line is it'll be good for him to get him back here. It'll be good to at least exersize his mind with the PC. He's in the house most of the day.
