Anyone deal with Botach Tactical?

I personally have ordered 300+ dollars on two seperate occasions for things like my Suunto XLander Military watch and my GPS, both of which arrived in reasonable time with reasonable shipping costs. I haven't had a single problem with them.

There's a plethora of negative experiences about these clowns on AR15.com,M4carbine.net,and many other related sites... Sure they have some good deals, but why take the chance with them? With a little patience, and a little more searching, you could find a reputable dealer with prices equal to or better.

I don't recomend Botach. I tried to return some items that prematurely failed. I tried calling and emailing them and got no response. It was a $10 item, but getting no response from them is not acceptable. Needless to say I do not order from them.

Just to add my .02....

I've placed several orders with them and have never had a problem. One of the items I bought on closeout was a piece of crap -- but the manufacturer took care of me just fine. Of course, I have heard (and I have no reason to doubt) SEVERAL problems with these guys on multiple forums...

I just got a $900 order filled by them perfectly and it only took two weeks for everthing to show up.

Speedfeed pistol grip stock & forearm set for a Winchester Defender 1300 series, order was placed in the late 1990's.

I was billed in-full the day after I placed my order.

After waiting two weeks, I called, no answer; I sent emails, no answer.

After weeks of leaving voicemails and sending emails I finally got ahold of a customer service representative who told me that the item was backordered but would arrive "next week"

The following week I called again, "not yet, it's expected to arrive next week" and so it went.

Finally, I'd had enough. Unfortunately, when I called my credit card company to dispute the charges, the 60 day period I had to file a claim had elapsed.

Then you stopped responding to my emails and phone calls altogether.

No merchandise, no explanation, no recourse.

I don't suppose you'd be willing to help me or the thousands of others with similar stories, hmmm? ;)

Don't let the bogus response from BotachTactical fool you. These guys are top shelf buffoons. Prices are good but when they f*** up your order just try to actually talk to someone and get it fixed. Ordered from them three months ago and their inability to correctly fulfill the order is not worth the headache that you might receive. After numerous email, messages left (try calling their number during business hours, I dare you), etc. I finally kept the incorrect mags and figured I would buy a sig226 to fit them. IDIOTS. Don't let the price point fool you, you will pay if you play. Maybe, just maybe not the first time but it will happen. First time for me, last time for me.

Buyer beware: the above post is exactly correct. They will drag out the ordeal to get past the 60 day dispute window that your cc company utilizes. Don't let that happen to you.

What I don't get is why people who have done business with Botach didn't use Postal Money Orders, If Botach didn't deliver, then it would be a Federal crime. While I sympathize with people who have or had problems with Botach, I wonder how many times does it take before the message of "Don't do business with them" or the message of "I should use a method of payment that would practically guarantee I'll get my order"
is received and acted upon. Maybe I missed something.....

I ordered a backpack from them several months ago. I waited two weeks and it never showed up. I emailed them and asked what was going on. The customer service rep emailed me back and said that it was backordered, and they didn't know when it would be in stock. I told him to cancel the order. Two weeks later, the pack showed up. I emailed the rep, back, but got no answer. I finally got ahold of them and they said I would have to pay to return the pack myself.

I should have just gotten ahold of Amex and placed a stop payment on the payment for the pack once they said it was backordered. Then if they wanted to send me the pack anyway, then I will consider it a gift.

Again, I encourage people to email me direct

I am a serious devotee to proper customer service. If for any reason you are having trouble getting through to us, please email me

Email me before placing an order for a stock check, or email me if you have an order pending, or lost order

How about answering the question below BEFORE going on to something else.
You either help, as you said you will or you will not.
Has this member been taken care of yet?
That is something I would need to know before making an order...

same here order once from them, never again. shystie man. order from lapolice or copsplus, lil more expensive, but top notch service, fast shipping.

i've ordered from them without problems... but i kept the orders small and it was nothing i needed right away.

a friend of mine suggests always calling to make sure they have the items in stock.

i'd rather order from LA Police Gear. they've always delivered promptly and frequently throw in a bunch of schwag when i order 5.11 pants. i get a coffee mug, a hat and some other goodies thrown in.

ordering from Botach is playing with fire.

S&W M&P Mags, they have a great price listed on these, $20, I've order them twice waited a few week only to check and see the order was canceled, no email, no call, no nothing. BIG BS and a place I'm done with.

They're totally hit or miss. On my last miss, I gave up on them. Haven't ordered anything from Botach in years.

A good price is useless if you never get the product.
Botach has a habit of this.:jerkit:
I don't know why anyone would place an order there:barf:

I guess I should be fair since the OP asked way back when. I just got 4 pairs of Sigtac BDUs that Botach has on sale for $20 bucks a pair. They were ordered and at my door in about 5 days. Call me a blind hog!!
