Anyone deal with Botach Tactical?

Traded them an Eagle Arms target AR15 towards a new Colt AR15 A3 back in 1996. They sent the brand new rifle with an obviously used colt bolt. Obviously someone cherry picked the parts out. Buyer beware.

I have bought some spare parts for my Glock G-21sf, and all shipped and arrived OK.

Only problem in that was the magazine well plug's description did not say it would NOT fit the -sf sub-model, and when contacted, I'd have to pay shipping back, which was about the same as the part cost.

I still have that thing, unused. Kind of put me off of them, but not a huge deal.

It's hit or miss with Botach for me. I have tried to order stuff on their front page clearance area and the order goes through but never arrives. When I called them they said that the items weren't in stock any longer. They never notified me about this.

I have placed GSA order for my Government Agency and they have gone smooth.

Just recently I tried to purchase a back pack, two knives and a cleaning tool. After nearly 3 months, lot's of phone calls and emails, I finally got my order! They do have good prices but you really have fight or lose years of your life getting what you want.

I returned an order some years back, a few of the items were not exactly what I was looking for. Never got a credit to my card, so I called them. When I finally got ahold of someone, I was told my return never arrived. I was new to the game, and I hadn't placed delivery confirmation on the package. So I was out $70, and I'm pretty sure they just restocked the items from my "lost" return.

What's up RALPH!!!!!!!!!!!! ;)

Let me start by saying I have no ties to this company at all.
I've have had no problems at all with them.....I've bought around a total of 50 glock mags from them.....and I'll buy from them again.

Here's some I've got from them...it's a old picture have much more now.

I've had nothing but good luck with them, despite hearing about problems for years, so YMMV. So far two hawks, handcuffs, knives, a bunch of other stuff. The only thing I've ever noticed is they kick butt on shipping, as I've never got anything so fast.

My theory is that maybe other people are ordering backordered stuff and getting hosed? I don't know, but stuff I've ordered comes right and quick.

I sent this email to Botach Tactical. I'm really interested in what they have to say. I'm betting on them lying. I'll report back with their reply....

Hi. I notice that a simple search for Botach Tactical brings up countless number of complaints about your company. I also know people personally who have had very bad experiences. Many sites have you labeled as scam artists. Please don't bother denying these accusations if you want my business. I know for a fact they are true. I just want to know if your business practices have improved and if so, how. Thank you.

I ordered dozens of items from them years ago. Received some of the stuff, not all, even though they took full payment. Several phone calls went unanswered and got run-around on others.

They have never made good on it and I have never done business with them again.

I have had 2 orders with BT and both times approx 1 week after I received a confirmation email I received a phone call telling me that a large portion of my order wasn't actually in stock and they didn't know when they would be available. They have horrid CS and the most frustrating part is that the phone number listed on the "contact us" page is NEVER answered. I literally called about 15 times during the hours they were supposed to be open and went to voice mail every time. After approx a dozen emails and phone messages I still had not received a contact back and eventually got some luck with their "instant message" type CS. I know their prices look good and I have been tempted on a few occasions, but when I remember my terrible experiences with them it just isn't worth the small savings you can get.

I have had two order in the past year that went great. About 3 years ago I had to contact my CC company to get a refund. It seems very hit or miss. I am not sure if the savings are worth the risk.

If you but a $100 item and save $15, but -
1- Do not get the item,
2- Get a used item,
3- Get an item that is scratched, dented, dinged, etc
4- Get an item that is not working correctly,
5- get an item that parts are missing ,
6, this is easy enough to keep going on and on about, but you get the point of all that...,

The question at that time is, have you saved anything or will you spend more repairing, repacking, returning, etc, etc?

There is also the issue of excessive waiting, they tell you an item is in stock when it is not and never tell you it has not shipped, 30 days you remember ordering this item (anything), Question-
How much "headache" is worth saving a small amount of money?
How long is it OK to wait to save a small amount of money, that is, IF you get it at all?

With this economy, why not buy from a trusted business and not a "maybe they will, maybe they won't sent your product ordered,
Maybe it will, maybe it won't be used, parts missing or any of the problems mentioned above?
