Anyone delt with Chestnut ridge

I like those guys. Chestnut Ridge is a store, and they also have a website. The have some unique items that I've only seen from them.
I got their BK2 w/ black micarta and their custom kydex. A customized RD4, the work was done by Justin Gingrich.
They offer some great striped/polished versions of the Ranger line, Beckers with micarta handles and other customs.

I've only dealt with Tom once, we did some trading and everything went as smooth and fast as possible, wouldn't hesitate to do business with him again.

... but think about it, if you listed "0" in stock on several knives, potential customers would simply move on to the next vendor. On the other hand, if you list "in stock" something that actually isn't, and when an order comes through try and get the item from your supplier and ship it out. ...

= lying to your customer to have an edge over the honest dealers out there

who's dumb enough to buy from such a dealer?

Appreciate this being moved to right forum since it deals with dealer feedback

I don't care for their website but I have done business with them over the phone. I don't get the feeling that it is a large place with lots of people manning the computers. I do agree with those that are put off by the inaccuracies of their web site.

As far as dealing with them on the phone. They are great people or have been to me. I don't think I have ever bought a knife from them but I have purchased a fair amount of ammo from them. Even when a lot of dealers were gouging everyone on ammo they kept their prices reasonable.

I wouldn't have a problem dealing with them as long as it was on the phone or in person. I wouldn't personally place an order using the web site.

I ordered a OKC Ranger BUSH RD-6 from him and there was excellent communication and a very fast delivery. A+++
