Anyone else carry inside the waistband?

I work in an office, with occasional trips down to a lab. (Electrical or I mechanical)

I have to wear slacks most of the time, and a locking folder clipped to the pocket just looks wrong and sometimes gets some looks.

I’m finding this is a good solution. The knife isn’t exactly concealed, but it’s not obvious either.

Here’s today’s Native Lightweight carried at 5:00 IWB:

I don't because I carry my EDC appendix inside the waist band when I'm not at work. I would probably carry a knife in my pocket if I worked where you do. Do what works for you though.

I've been known to put a pocket knife in my pocket, often controversially with a fob. Sometimes, with shirt untucked, I conceal a knife in a leather belt pouch, likewise all fobbed out. My wife usually chooses the fobs for me and lays out a week's supply every Sunday. When my colleagues enquire, I shamefully confess her control over me and my masculinity.

In secret, I dig the colors.

That’s brilliant, just tried it with the Emerson I’m carrying today. Doesn’t weigh my pants down as much, or at least don’t feel it on me as much or even at all. Also kind of like not having the clip sticking out my pocket. And the wave feature still works as good or better without destroying my pocket. Awesome, may be the new way I carry. And the best thing of all I can now carry as many knives as I want cause I got a pretty big waistline! You just rocked my world sir!!

Yes ! About 50% of the time I carry iwb !
Loose in the pocket I get concerned it will fall out and is more work to retrieve.

I work in a corporate environment and clip my folder inside my front pocket. Most of the time, it's in a lower front pocket on my left leg. IDGAF.
IWB is uncomfortable.

I mostly work from home now - my company went remote during Covid and moved to an office with about 1/5 of the desks, it is permanent. We were also bought by a much larger, much more traditional company, and a pretty (small-c) conservative white-collar attitude has been bleeding in over the last few years.

I still carry a clipped folder. Usually a Mnandi, but sometimes a bigger one if there's a reason. Some of the newish MBA-types have reacted, but they figure out I've been here forever and am in management, and I guess they adapt.

IWB is time honored way to CC weapons , but it has to covered from sight and not "print" (show a suspicious shape) through the cover .

Anybody who cares enough to be looking hard , will notice your knife carry ,as pictured above , and probably be more suspicious than just seeing a regular pocket carry clip showing atop a pocket . Because it's abnormal behavior . For paranoids , unusual /unexplained = dangerous !

It's not difficult to be stylish with some kind of light cover if you can't simply untuck .

I don't wear a belt, unless absolutely necessary, and I also keep a pistol IWB so that's out for the knife. However, I do IWB a knife late at night on my way to the bathroom or kitchen in my underwear lol! Yes I'm well aware that I'm eccentric and ridiculous.
