Anyone else looking forward to the GEC #83?

Once again the incredible generosity and camaraderie of the porch is on full display.

@LastRodeo saw my earlier posts asking about an #83 and was kind enough to help me acquire one from his collection. Thank you Mike!

I see what all the fuss is about. The size and shape of this knife are great. A perfect little everyday companion that slips into the watch pocket, but can take on the heavier duty tasks.

The best part about this knife? It is already a user, so I don’t feel bad about putting it to work right away.

The Sambar Stag is lighter than I usually see on a GEC. It’s a beautiful caramel color in person. Smooth on the mark side and interesting texture on the pile. Satin finish on the blade and nice lock up.

Great pick up. A stag 83 is one of my special keepers.
