USPS has been pretty poor for a while now. About 70 percent of most of my mail comes late, sometimes up to a month.
Even more fun, is it now takes about 45 minutes standing in line to get to a counter.
Fun times!
Well, the package from Portland did magically get here on Monday, so only 3x longer than it was quoted but at least not 2 weeks like most packages I have had go through that distribution center! Not sure how USPS can be quoting 2-3 day priority times when they know it will take much longer certain places. I had another package out of VA (knifecenter) get here a day early though, so there is that. Interestingly enough, when I sent a package to VA a few weeks back it sat at a distro center for a week. Go figure...Big thread already about this on going slow down here: https://www.bladeforums.com/threads/postal-packages.1762660/
This has been an issue since October in my experience. Most of my packages have been late since then. A good many of them by 10 days or more. One first class package took 30 days.
Currently I have a 2-3 day priority package out of Portland, OR that is going to be at least 9 days if it magically gets here Monday. Current status is "Arriving Late".
