Anyone else want to see more made in the H-1 Steel? Or just me..

I love everything H-1 has to offer, I have yet to sharpen any of them, they perform exactly as told, and of course they are Spyderco Quality. Though, I would like to see more fix blades offered beyond the Paratrooper and Enuff model (then also the Warrior? Model I believe). Does anyone else feel the same? Or am I alone on this one. Show me your Salts!!!
I can't post pictures yet...but these are what I have, 3 yellow handles and all with the Spyderco serration.
1. Salt I, my gym knife (don't have to worry about sweating on it)
2. Atlantic, my edc whenever I'm at the lake in the summer (which is almost weekly)
3. Pacific, my fishing knife (never smells like fish cuz I can wash the fishstank out of it!)
4. Caspian2, my scuba diving knife (I didn't find out about these till after this was discontinued, and I went all over the internet until I found one, $200 in Penn. worth every penny) This knife also saved my life once! In a bed of Kelp in California.

I have yet to own a knife in H1 because I have no need for any of the designs available, so yes I'm interested in more offerings. I'm especially intrigued by the work hardening aspect of the steel. I've heard of serrated edges getting up near 67 Rockwell while maintaining a softer more durable spine that prevents breakage.

I would love to see one as a dive knife to be used as kayaking..... great gift for my brother. Something similar to the Gerber river shorty ,

How about a filet blade.... seriously be all over that.

The River Shorty was inspiring! I really liked how it was shaped, the sheath, but on my first dive I came up and it had rust all over it! I cleaned it off, and the next morning the rust was back with avengance. The entire knife had rusted over. I ditched it for an NRS Pilot (that got stolen..) and now the Caspian.

I really like H1 and carry a Pacific Salt now and again. Easy to sharpen, and holds in my use a long daily edge.

H1 is my favorite.. I wish they would offer it in other models like the para 2 and Military....and oh gosh, a Southard in H1 ..wooo hooo!

The H-1's I own are two Pacific Salts and a Dragonfly II. One of my Pacific Salts is black with SS blade and the other is black with black blade. I absolutely love any and all H-1 blades.

Awesome pic by the way.

Nice ^^:)

I want a yellow handled full SpyderEdge stretch in H1

Honestly it seems like a no brainer to me but I guess we can't have everything (unless its requested enough) ;)

Seems to me that there are already a lot of models with H-1. Sorry to be the dissenter.

I am happy to find fellow H1 lovers.. I thought that most hated the H1 steel and now I found a new set of friends.:D

can you elaborate?

Strider?

Emerson?

Benchmade?

They have H1 steel?

Or are you talking about the very few models that spyderco puts out?

Yes! More H1!

H1 is my favorite EDC blade material, at least in SE. I can't post pics either, but the ones I own are:

3 Salt 1's (black PE, black SE, yellow SE)

3 Pacifics (yellow PE, yellow SE, black SE)

Atlantic (yellow SE)

Dragonfly 2 (yellow SE)

2 Tasmans (both black SE)

So I guess I like H1! ;). I have yet to own a fixed blade in H1, but would love to. The more the merrier, right?

For quite some time now, my one-handed EDCs have been the black SE Pacific and one of my Tasmans. Combined with a Swisstool Spirit S and Victorinox Executive, this seems to cover all my bases.

Got a straight edge Pacific Salt 1 in my wishlist now, been wanting to try H1 out for awhile and thought I'd start there.

I'd like to see sprint runs of every spydie done up in H-1. Like 2 or 3 each year. I bought a Salt one due to my zt rusting one summer during a heat wave. I work in a boiler room and it got to about 120 degrees. Bought the salt right after I put down the steel wool. Been edcing it for work since. A yojimbo 1 in H-1 is my dream knife. Ps- I like the hi-lighter yellow handles. Carried mine iwb of my gym shorts for a week while down south. No issues. Love H-1. Best thing since blade locks.

I really like my Salt 1, but feel lik a 2nd class Spydie fan with that old handle shape. Please update all the existing handles, and then Sprint Run all the greats: PM2, Millie, Stretch etc, and more H1 full tang fixed blades please.

I regularly use a Caspian, Aqua Salt SE, Tasman and Ladybug Hawkbill Salt mostly for (saltwater & freshwater) kayak/wade fishing. I have some other models, but those are ones that I tend to use. I managed to acquire dupes of the Caspian and Aqua Salt before the prices went crazy.

What I would most like to see is a H1 fixed fillet knife or at least a redesigned Catcherman with a non-plastic clip. I have a couple of Spyderco K06 6" fillet knives of the Pro-Culinaire MBS-26 series made by Masahiro and it is an excellent design.
