Anyone else want to see the ZT0500 MUDD brought back?

That wasn't the end of the story. The end of the story was that he was inferior in both price and service.

But this has nothing to do with the MUDD. I mentioned it only to explain that I had tried TNK and why it didn't work out.

There's a section for that discussion and a post already made. It can be discussed further if people want, but I won't be part of it.

Keep this conversation to the MUDD and G&GH.

Once again, you're out of line. You brought it up and now you're telling others to take it elsewhere. You're a real piece. And you're so yellow you've decided to set your contact permissions to nil. You're a disgrace to bladeforums, knife collectors and users. That's the end of the story.

Back the fun bus up there, folks.

I'm sure I'm not alone when I say that I couldn't care less about some silly drama from a different forum. Why don't all of you just stick to the topic at hand and let sleeping threads lie? If you want to whine at each other about something that was discussed in a different thread, I'm sure it would be more appropriate to take it to that thread and leave this one be.

Absolutely right. Any problems like this can always be reported with the Report Post triangle.

I don't have a dog in this fight and don't know anyone in this thread. I know this needs to be dropped but when I see something that doesn't seem fair I'm going to say something. I don't see why the above post got an infraction for insulting members (I don't see an insult and the post does not show it was edited?) yet the one below is allowed to fly. I don't know anything about TNK but I am glad it was mentioned as I can now research what happened. From what I see so far it doesn't look like a company I would want to deal with, but I will look further. The comment also seemed to be made in passing and wasn't complaining or dragging them through the MUDD (haha) like I sometimes see on this website. That is all, I've said my piece.

No infraction, just a warning. Esav's subtle way of telling everyone to knock off the personal carp and stick with discussing the knife.

Brought this back up because my ZT0500 MUDD arrived today. Even though I had this knife a few times in the past, and knew what to expect, I was still eager for it to get here and excited when it did! I really have a hard time trying to decide which is my favorite ZT folder, the 0500, or the 0200. Either way I am well covered no matter which one I carry that day!

Just a few words about this knife, and since it has been discussed so much I will not add anything new to the mix. For this particular knife, out of the box, everything I check in a knife was excellent. I did tighten the pivot more to my liking, and though tight to most, it is exactly where I want it to be, plus it opens smoothly. Another thing that I "had" to fix was the pocket clip. I shortened the clip down to 1.0" in length, rebent the tip, and also rounded the tip back to it's stock look. Next thing that "needed" to be done was to lengthen the hole on the clip. I did this using a Dremel tool. I made a slot out of the hole so that the clip would slide up, or in my case, slide down. I always disliked how the clip felt when opening the knife. With the tight pivot I gave it, opening causes the clip to feel wiggley. Now that I can move it down, I have it nestled between the "ears" on the back of the handle. It is now on very firm ground and I have no wiggley going on when I open it! My last job on the clip was to cover the clip with some black 3M Stair Step tape. This stuff really adhere's excellently to clips, and as a further bonus, it allows a firm grip when drawing the knife from your pocket.

There you have it. A new ZT0500 MUDD has arrived, been through my inspection and fixin's, and now adorns my right front pocket, where it will ride for some time to come.
