Anyone go on a knife binge lately?

Don't know what it is about Rob's knives, but as I've mentioned in the past, they look far better in hand than they do in any pic.

The "magic" shall be in-hand soon.:D

Ugh, I did not need to discover another knife maker whose work I didn't know I needed.

The Sharky is my favorite Busse fighter... and the way its balanced, with a bit of practice, getting to know its dynamics and all, it would make a sensational heavy duty thrower too.

My current bender ended with the most expensive custom I have ever purchased. Did I say ended? Maybe I mean paused...

Because if I could find any of the things on my hit list it would be back on.

How was the sharpening job on your Custom Flak Jack? My custom looked like 120 grit was used. This is my first Busse.

I've been buying up a bunch of handmades as of late. Landi, Horton, Medlin, Bittel, Leeper, and lucked out on a Don Baker heavy duty fighter. Also picked up a CQC 7a limited edition from Action Conepts. Oh yea a Andre Arnold maker out of S. Africa Smithsonian Bowie. At least he is supposedly out of S. Africa? Regardless it is a very very well made bowie. Not bad for someone getting out knives, right? keepem sharp

Well in the last week I've bought an as new Benchmade 910BT Stryker, a Benchmade 904B Mini Axis Stryker and a Benchmade 318 Proper Clip Point Green Micarta. I am looking at a Benchmade 905 Mini Stryker as well.

Got the Boos Smoke TM1 recently and will have a Koenig Arius next week. The week after I should receive a Three Rivers Neutron. For me that’s definitely a binge.

I tend to buy most of my knives between April and June and then September-November..... I try not to binge, but that is a judgement call.

Yeah. Got both taxmoney back and a pretty decent holiday payment, so I bought 8 new knives in a bang. Still waiting for two of them, and now I'm broke.

I guess you bought all those off of Charlie Mike?

Or are you just reposting his pic?

One of the types of things I buy for my hobby in collecting, (all sorts of do-dads), are knives. I self titled this hobby, my "Man Gadget Collection". Since it's for my hobby in collecting that I purchase most of my knives, I don't ever have to seek a "reason" why I "need" a particular item, since the hobby itself is "collecting" things. And so collecting IS the reason for making my purchases... adding to my collection.
That said, I am almost always either waiting for a new knife to be delivered to my home, or have my eyes peeled for something that catches my interest :)
My most recent arrival was an Ontario Knife Company model "SP-53 Bolo Knife", having just been delivered to me a few days ago. My next incoming blade is a Tops model "Wild Pig Hunter", which should arrive to me by this coming Thursday.
