Arent I quick.

I do believe that this site used to be under another URL, but has since changed. www.bladeauctionS.com
Wonder why it changed eh.

Creator probably was once a viewer of www.bladeauction.com and accidently added a S and got an idea.
;)

Hello,
I am Jay Johnson the owner of TheKnifeAuction.com. It has ALWAYS been TheKnifeAuction.com.

I am not the guy from bladeauctions.com. As for him being a thief, I don't know about that, but I did have some other problems with him. On another forum he accused me of stealing "his" idea for a knife auction site. As I told him there TheKnifeAuction.com was registered long before bladeauctionS.com.

I always check when I go to theknifeauction.com to how many knives actually have bids on them. Out of over 750 auctions there are 2 that have bids and each of these only has 1 bid. This seems to be the case every time I stop by for a look.

i noticed the same thing keith and was not impressed but you never know what it can do from month to month.....and damn you have over 10.000 posts you are the man:eek:

Michael,
Perhaps you would like to sell some of your fine knives on TheKnifeAuction?

That $890.oo bid has got to be a mistake!!!

That knife is an absolute POS and not worth 89 cents.

Looks like the entire website is a POS!!!!

It's no mistake. SKM of Maniago Italy is the seller. Arthas of SKM/AB posted a sticky about it on another forum. I beleive they tried to sell it before on BA and got 0 bids. The price is insane for that knife.

Jay, if you are trying to bolster a positive image of the site, why would you post a link to something cheesy like that POS?

Anyone look through the "custom" sections. Lots of knives for sale, but don't see many customs(though I'll give him the one Marbles since it's stamped "Custom run" ;)

Unless I'm mistaken, the description of that item doesn't match the accompanying photo. I don't believe that's an Ideal.

But while we're on the subject, what about this fine "custom"?

Amazing Bowie Knife -- None Cheaper

Doug

The only "Amazing" thing about that POS is the fact that somebody could actually live with themselves for making and selling it. :barf:

etp777,
The custom knives categories have been cleaned up.
Thank you for your input.

Keith,
420 stainless steel is a very popular blade material used by many reputable knife manufacturers. And is a logical choice for this type knife.

Is $890 too much for that knife? Considering that it was handmade by a highly respectable maker, the many hours required to manufacture, the rarity, and the large number of collectors. I would not be surprized to see it sell for that price.

To the other critics,
Thank you for your input. I have taken into account where the criticism came from and I will use it accordingly.

Thanks,
Jay

Absolutely!!! In this case. There are very few [if any] Custom's with garbage steel like that one.

And there are NO manufacturer's that use that steel and sell a knife for almost $900.

Crap like this removes all credibility from that site.....ALL OF IT
