Anyone Here A Horror Movie Buff ?

I was recently watching the new King Kong by Peter Jackson, when I noticed something that reminded me of one of my favorite movies of all time.

On the ship, in the hold- there is a cage marked "Sumatran Rat monkey"

This is a creature created by Jackson for his early film "Dead Alive", (it bites people and they become zombies.)

Dead Alive is a low budget (comedy/horror) movie I enjoy and recommend. . .

Saw Slither on Friday, and thought it was entertaining, worth renting. Too disgusting for my tastes, but other than that, not bad. Too much casual use of the f word, which doesn't bother me, but they could have a more constructive dialogue among the characters, instead of yelling out "What the f is that" or "What the f is going on".

Anyone see "Slither" yet? It just opened on Friday.

It's decent. Not really scary.
More like MIB meets Critters meets Mars Attacks... doesn't take itself too seriously. Just fun.
