Ok, this is the final word. This reminds me of the big kid that's beating
everyone up on the playground and the teacher(esav)has to step in. By
the way, one of my good friends is Jewish. Go Israel.

uh..... right.......

except this is completely different. who are you in your little scenario? the big kid or the kid getting beat up?

Yes we do. Can I ask you a question since I have your attention? How come you guys never made a big chopper? Just asking out of curiosity, as I've never really cared for your designs except for the Poliwog(great money clip).:)

Thanks

you really don't have a clue as to what you are talking about, do you?

Some of the Hossoms are pretty large choppers. We made some protos of other choppers. We have some designs by Gayle Bradley and Ed Schempp. Very nice designs.

Making them right has high mfg costs and a small market. We might mke more in the future.

I will say that companies like M-Tech reduce the desire of inventors and designers to create. If everyone thought like you do, and bought copies from companies that didn't invest in the design or R&D, there probably wouldn't be companies like ours.

BTW, the Poliwog is not my design, It was designed by my son, Eric.

In all sincerity, Mr. Glesser, you are a class act.

he most certainly is.

and some people cant understand why we support him and his company (or another maker) and show sometimes fierce brand loyalty.

Thanx much Plasman. I think that as Scattergun learns more about knives and the industry, he might adjust his position.

Cheap Chinese design copies and counterfeits are a PITA in any industry and will ultimately hurt many of us. There is always a market for them because there are many people that think like Scattergun.

That is an understatement. His ability to remain upbeat with rarely a hint of negativism or a trace of sarcasm when presented with STD (Severe Trollistic Disfunctionality) is something most people should strive for. Most of us Spyderco fans probably get madder than he does.

The Chinese culture has often emphasized ethics and intelligence. They have also been plagued by their own version of prosperity: a land great in size, agriculture, and population. This often led to widespread conflicts and a miserable farming class.

Now industrialization is changing the way they provide for their society. Many of us like to buy knives from American, Japanese, and Taiwanese companies, yet many of these companies are outsourcing to China. They find an industrious workforce and modern materials with a supportive government. Develop, develop, develop!

It is a shame that so many even here on Bladeforums cannot see the difference between legitimate free enterprise and the vermin who slip in and out, polluting the newly harvested grain stored up for the future. They have already tarnished some of China's future with poisoned foodstuffs. They tarnish it further with toxic business practices.

Just as we should not feed the trolls here online, we should not do business with fraud overseas.

the snakes are slithering out of their holes
they tunnel beneath the homes and roads
they live with the worms and bugs and moles
and swallow the rats and lizards and toads

they want a place to call their own
to hiss and bite in venomous glee
they hide inside an old dry bone

i want them far away from me
