Anyone own any of the Cabela's Alaskan Guide Bucks?

ive resisted these because i don’t like etching, etc on blades. now yall have me reconsidering.

did they make a 112 in this series?

I’ve never seen any 112s and I’ve looked for them too. I’d probably get one if they did.

The Buck AG series knives are some of my favorite knives both in looks and functions. When the OP has his knife in hand he can tell us what he thinks.

No there has never been a 112 version made.

I generally don’t care for coated blades but the AG series is done very well and look pretty sharp. And I’m a fan of the dealer who sells them to. I don’t know if they’re a supporting dealer but they sure have some nice Buck knives!

If you can make it to the Buck factory in Post Falls, or have a buddy that lives nearby... You might be able to find an unbadged Alaskan Guide Buck for a really good price. :)

Sorry for the slight derail but maybe post a new thread in general knife discussion. Love to see those. Several I wish I'd have bought back in the day...

Since I got off on a Kershaw tangent here is some Buck AG love.

"Im going to be selling quite a few in my collection. Please inquire if youve seen something of interest. Ive run out of room. Thank you"

Just curious which models you're thinking about selling?
With the exception of a few. Most will be available. I just took 5 boxes down from my living room to my office. All from the last two sales. havent even done anything with them. It kinda convinced me to share. Doesnt mean im done collecting. just need to narrow down my interests.:)
