Anyone planing on getting the schrade schf43?

What I USE to like about Schrade was they were a great American company that made great classic blades in America particularly, for me, the Old Timer line of which I have several vintage folders and fixed blades. But that was then, this is now and basically the name was bought and used for a foreign product. Some designs remain but they're not the same.

This thing is just big and ugly with a ridiculous handle that's about as big as the blade itself. I do really like the schf42 and won't knock anyone for owning one, but I'll stick with the BK16 in that regard...

If you're reviewing a prototype that you designed yourself, why wouldn't you already have the specs? ie weight and thickness... That really adds to scepticisms and validity of a review not to mention a "designer"...

I can tell you this, as a youtuber I never ask for freebies. My policy is that I will review a product if asked to, or I've purchased it myself, and if I want to keep said product I will pay for it. If I don't want it I will send it back. I'm not out for free stuff. I would rather the person/company make money than ask for something free. I am only asking CT/Schrade because that is what he does to the companies that make the products he reviews.

BF has a thin line when it comes to certain kinds of bashing, threats, and name calling. you will run afoul of those before you run afoul of our sub-forum rules
