I'm glad you posted this, and I ordered one to try. Really been searching for something low profile and will give these a try.Low profile belt carry seems contradictory and usually is with a traditional leather sheath but someone in this thread suggested a Rainbow of California knife sheath. I just received one and it really fits the bill. Very flat and thin, it disappears under a t-shirt. Carried a large Sebenza tonight with it and couldn’t feel or see the knife with a shirt pulled over it. Cheap too, about $15 and well made. Vertical or horizontal carry.

Beautiful Buck 110. Love those wooden scales. How are you carrying it horizontally with the Buck nylon sheath? Just checked my sheath and it only looks like vertical carry is possibleAfter reading this thread, I decided to try belt carry for a couple of days. Broke this one out and am carrying it horizontal on the belt with the standard Buck nylon sheath that came with it.View attachment 2423494

I carry a 110 on my belt in the nylon sheath when fishing- makes it handy to not have to dig through my pockets when I want a knife and my hands are covered in fish gunkI have a wide variety of pocket knives but find myself carrying them on my belt more and more. It’s a matter of finding the right belt sheath for them of course but once I do, the comfort of carrying on my belt blows away the feeling of that same knife in my pocket. I always have a belt on me since I’m always carrying a pistol. I can bend, sit, move etc. without even feeling the knife, no matter how big or how heavy. Carrying a knife in the pocket is another story, especially if wearing jeans with tight pockets. In fact, I can’t think of a single benefit to carrying in the pocket vs. the belt.
Maybe the designers of the Buck 110 had it right all along. Make it a folder but carry it like a fixed blade. Thoughts?
Ok, now I see it, thanks. Those small loops on mine are so tight that I didn’t think they were loops at all. Anyway, it’s a moot point, my gun belt is waaaay to thick to fit through them. I’ll stick to vertical carry with the Buck sheath, works really well. It makes carrying the Buck 110 a breezeI have two of the Buck nylom sheaths that are both made the same. They can either be carried vertical with the big loop ot horizontal through the two small loops where the tag is

I'll take a look thanksI found that one on EBay...
Right now, you're just standing there with no pants on.Don't have any pretty picks but these are my two edc's for many years now. View attachment 2421893View attachment 2421898This is a Cold Steel Voyager 5.5" blade Plain Edge. It rides vertical in a kydex sheath I made that rides above the belt line and lays flat against the body. This is the one I use all the time. This is an 11" Italian Stalettio that I carry for back up.View attachment 2421899View attachment 2421901 I had the original sheath modified so that I can carry it horizontal on the belt line. I wear my shirts out almost always and you can't tell I'm carrying either one, and they're so comfortable I hardly know they're there. Couldn't possibly carry either one in a pocket.
