HOG-Stealth like and all... :D

this should be made a sticky for all to see how we, us (brothers and sisters and Hogs) support and stand united side by side to help our beloved Soldiers in harms way!

We love you all, and to Jerry, two words come immediately to mind.

1st. Amazing! for the compassion and size of your warm heart you always have and display for the many brothers and sisters in need, that you have helped, publicly and privately.

2nd. Proud! because of the pleasure of knowing a selfless man such as yourself.

Thank You,

Jules

And that is the truth

Of anyone, I most like giving PG a hard time (kind of like catching hatchery trout - easy but still fun), but he is a solid guy:thumbup:.

i can understand why it would be made a sticky, and I wouldn't necessarily be adverse to it, but I like the idea of it being left to cascade into the forgotten lake of posts. it can be pulled up at any time if needed.

jerrys initial gift went unnoticed, but it was appreciated by those who needed it most. you give because it's right, because it is your choice to give, not for the attention you might receive for it. Busse has always supported those in harms way and has never directly used it as advertisement (which is not to say soldiers and combat are not design elements, just that the level of gifts and support isn't presented on a regular basis (or ever for that matter)), which is part of what I enjoy about the companies overall aesthetic.

I agree with LVC.

This is certainly my way -- I do something because I honestly believe it is right. And not for any other reason.:)

Die Hard Hog

I just scanned most of this thread and just have to add that Recondo4u has been around Busse knives for a very long time and a member of this forum for a very long time, Thanks for your service to our great country.

All you hogs, well said.

Jerry two  for all you do

However, one true aspect is very true, there are lots of contractors in the sand box that make big claims but have nice cushy little jobs over there and can play on their PC's making $100k+.

I'm late to this thread and must admit I have not read through it entirely. In my mind the fact that the OP has removed his info and doesn't seek any more contributions speaks volumes. Thanks for your service, Recondo4u, we appreciate your sacrifices to try to help keep us safe from further attacks.

To all you Hoggs that helped out in his time of need, you've shown your patriotism, and are always welcome to feed at my trough...

Well I don't own any INFI yet but hope to soon, so I only come to this forum to drool occasionally. But I am a knife knut just the same. It's nice to see the way you guys rally around your own like this. I'll second LP's sentiment about being careful as I am also in Afghanistan right now and have witnessed guys around here taking advantage of people's generosity frequently, I am a part of a PRT(Provincial Reconstruction Team), we are rebuilding this Country and I can also see where Recon's coming from with all the corruption in this country, as well as how the people live here as we are constantly in homes just as the ones he posted and seen it first hand. What your team is doing is extremely ADMIRABLE!!! Too many people serving here are looking to take advantage and it's nice to see someone who isn't. Now I'll have to start saving for my first Busse.
Greg
