temps are up and down ... first up, a lot of rain, then down again, this morning you could've played ice hockey in the streets ...
postman came later than usual, but he had a badge and a patch for me ...

Kamy crawls in our bed this morning. Mr says 'what do you want to be when you grow up?' She replied 'ughhhh a vegetarian.'. Mr says 'oh so you're not going to eat any meat?' To which she replied 'huh?'

Too early in the day to be quizzing the kids on what they want to do when they grow up... especially from Mr.... has he figured out what HE wants to do WHEN HE grows up yet? :)
 
I had a few beverages last night with a buddy (as some RAT Chatters know) and he convinced me to set up a facebook account. I got up this morning, had friend requests from people who I would avoid at all costs, so why would I care that they just got a new cat? Do people really do this? Is this what we've come too?

that is exactly why i dont bother doing that kind of stuff.
 
If I don't like them I don't add them, it can be a good way to keep in touch with some friends or plan a trip/get together, and it can also be a giant pain in the butt where all you hear is about other people's miserable days. :D also I enjoy arguing some days on facebook.
 
what a crappy day :grumpy:

i went to the post office to mail badges. left to get gas and my truck alarm went off while i was pumping gas. i turned it off. the truck then locked WITH THE KEYS IN IT! the mr came and bailed me out. got the girls lunch. got home and i had to run to the bank. I am at a red light everyone starts to go so I start to go. the guy in front of me slams on his breaks. i didn't have enough time to. i rear ended him.:mad: I'm fine. The guy didn't care (I only dented his bumper and he prob didn't have insurance). My bumper is pretty f'ed. Needs replacing and it rubbed the passenger tire until the mr smashed it back out w/ a sledge hammer. We needed new tires anyway and he's totally ok with the bumper dents. But I'm annoyed. We'll be replacing it.

dang Mrs. S that sounds like a bad day if i have ever heard one. hope it gets better!
 
I've locked my keys in my car so many times I can now coat hanger my way into a car in under a minute. Sucks. I need to get a spare in my wallet. Hope the bumper works out, try the local scrapyard. Always better prices than dealers.
 
I didn't lock the doors though! The alarm went off and when I turned off the alarm and shut the door they all locked with the keys on the seat :(
