I just read that Fox News posting and I have blood shooting from my eye's!!! This is exactly what is wrong with our country today. They punish those who protect and uphold the constitution, such as our military, the CIA, the police, etc. Just so those of the me first, give me everthing for free, hate our country generation can feel better about themselves and thier socialistic ideology they are infecting our nation with!!! If our country isn't taken back to the values and ideals that the greatest generation fought and died for in WWII, this country will be lost forever and beholden to whoever loaned us the money last month to put us that much more in debt!
 
I don't see why your pantys are in a twist. They allegedly abused and beat a detained prisoner. They were not punished for protecting and honorably upholding the constitution as you un-relatedly bestowed upon them before going off ranting about how socialist ideology has infected society.

What you should be complaining about is that those black water operatives were carrying supply's "for a catering company". Though I assure you that private contractors transporting supply's for a catering company in warzone is certainly not a socialist value.



I'd suggest you get your news from sources other that FOX if you want at least half the actual story.

I mean seriously. the headline is "Navy SEALs Face Assault Charges for Capturing Most-Wanted Terrorist" At what point in time did the facts ever point towards them being charged for just for capturing him?
They were charged for "willfully failing to safeguard a detainee, making a false official statement" and one was charged with assault. Few other details were released because of the secretive nature of the case. I'm sure command knows more than these hair-brained reporters at fox purposefully trying to rouse a bunch of rednecks.

And who should we get our news sources from? CNN? The New York Times? Or some other liberal oriented news source? Seriously, yes, Fox News is more conservative in their opinions. But name ONE reputable source that isn't biased? The sad truth of the matter is, they don't exist.

BBC is typically pretty decent. But I would certainly look somewhere else when you see a headline that's clearly an outright lie like that one. "more conservative" is a little bit of an understatement in that regard. FOX is a joke, the world over is laughing nervously at the fact that people actually follow it.

Have more faith in your military commanders, if all he got was a measly "bloody lip" like FOX was suggesting they'd have just laughed I'm sure. Either there's more to the story, or your soldiers are horrible uncreative lairs with completely inept commanders. I don't think there's much leeway for argument with that statement.

Fox is no less trustworthy than any other source. That includes BBC, ABC, MSN, CNN etc. IMO if it weren't for FOX, we'd really be screwed. Of course FOX is misleading at times. Unfortunately that's the status quo in the media world wide. At least they're not blatantly left leaning like every other source. By the way, read the book "Lone Survivor" by Marcus Luttrell and you'll excuse a little detainee beating by U.S. Navy Seals.
 
Tough job our military has. I support them 100 percent. America first!
 
Just read the Fox news article and I'm not surprised in the least. A punch in the face. Our service members endure more than that in basic training, not to mention the type of combat they face with suicide bombers and civilian appearing combatants. I'm ashamed at the liberal grip that has overtaken positions of leadership in this country. It has to end eventually.

I challenge you to find articles to the contrary from another source. I'd be willing to bet most networks won't cover the story at all. That alone should tell you something.

I really could give a damn if the SEALs knocked him around a little. This bastard had 4 contractors killed and then burned thier bodies. It's real easy for you in the safety of your nice warm home to spit on those SEALs that put their life on the line everyday. I bet you also think that giving the 9/11 terrorists American citizens rights and trying them in an American court room is a great idea too?! The are SEALs, not the Boyscouts. And us people that watch FOX are mostly hardworking, common sense people who like to know the truth. Being a Marine and a redneck, I'll take their word over your thoughts.

Thanks Katie for setting up another one. I completely failed at getting the 1st one organized with a meetup time. No matter how many new chatrooms we keep making, it's never going to work unless we organize something. Perhaps a poll is needed to see when people are most free?
