I think the floors had some good insulation, wouldn't let the cold air up into the house and it trapped some warm air in the basement, :D whatever the reason I wasn't complaining.
 
Girl scouts. Who had the brilliant idea to let the big girls join Girl scout? I have to sell cookies now. They say the kids have to but who are ther kidding? The parents end up doing all the work and the kids get the glory!
 
yeah - i just saw a SUV at Lowe's last night and the back was full of boxes - it seems like every year the sale starts sooner.
pretty soon they'll be competing with Christmas!
 
i think i still have a box of girl scout cookies in my freezer. they have been in there for at least a year and a half.
 
i been hiding from the GS just cause of my addiction to thin mints ever sence they got rid of the somoans ....

on another note .... i think i might need a break , i miss jeff... when hes around we have a lot less of these threads like "what angle do i sharpen my knife at" theres only like 50 of those jeeez guys ... then the other threads im starting not to stand is the "izula folder ones" .... how many of these do we need sitting around? there were like 5 on the front page of this forum.... i think 2 new ones already today....

i must be getting a winter grumpy streak

you should bust out your thin mints. that should end your grumpy streak.:D but i have to agree that the threads about people dying of the wait for the izula folder are superfluous. if you are dying of the wait for a knife that hasnt even been made yet than they should get something to tide them over. like an izula fixed blade.:D:thumbup:

What edge angle should I sharpen my Izula so it best opens my boxes of Thin Mints without chipping or rolling?

Or do you think I should get a HEST instead, I'll be really excited when the cookies get here and I'm afraid the small handle and thinner steel on the Izula might not be enough?
 
holy crap! my neighbor just bought 16 boxes of cookies from one kid and asked me to send teh other kid over with her order form :eek:
 
They bought 10 boxes from the second kid! 26 boxes of cookies total. And adam thought I needed an intervention. Lol
 
Anybody know what these are called? My dad thought they were Adze's but I dont think that's quite right.

and guys - now that Mrs S is out of the room, I gotta tell you Keebler Grasshopper cookies are as good if better than the current version of the thin mint...
