Oh goodness. I just ate a whole plate of Morrel mushrooms that I picked this evening. Going to need some antacid tonight... but I'll be damned if it wasn't worth it!
 
I've got a buddy that hunts for all sorts of crazy species of shrooms for their hallucinogenic affects. Not magic mushrooms but slightly toxic naturally occuring ones. He lives on the east coast.

yep. caught a nice sun burn.

they dropped the river water levels over night without warning. it went from an actual river to a small stream :( all the deep hole holding fish has 20+ people. my dad managed to land one.
 
yeah.
it was hot as hell.
and never in my life have i seen as many bugs out as there was up there. between the drive up/back, and driving around, the whole front of my truck is plastered with bugs.
 
yeah i know how that can be. on one of our roadtrips, through nebraska i believe, it got so bad that we had to pull over and scrape the bugs off the windshield to see the road.
