I bought some light target loads ,but they weren't much lighter in recoil, at least to my wife. Trouble is, they're only in 7 1/2 or # 8 shot. Next I'll try some lo-brass stuff and see how that works. Thanks fer showing.:thumbup:

Dude, they actually make 20 & 30 round drums for the Saiga Shotguns! That's some serious firepower! lol!
 
yep i just havnt spent the money for a drum yet, picked up 2 of the 10 rounders and 2 5 rounders, the saiga really likes buckshot or the remington nitro express game rounds. i love those too the remingtons reload about the best.

Got ambitious today and reprofiled the edge on my Junglas. Put a convex edge on it similar to the one I did on my Wetterlings 19" that has held up well and cuts very nicely. The Junglas edge may be a bit thinner, possibly a bit thinner than I had intended but it should work out OK. Tomorrow I may do some shelter building and try out the new edge on the Junglas for that.

I have to say, the Junglas with a nice thin edge looks GOOD.

hehe i taught that joke to my niece when she was about 3 and a half. She thought it was the most hilarious thing in the world, and went around telling it to everyone repeatedly...including me. I was of course expected to laugh as though i'd never heard it before.
 
"127 hours" movie, anyone here seen it yet? it's based on a true story of a hiker who got trapped by a boulder while hiking. i just saw the commercial for it earlier tonight. wonder if it's worth the watch.

well if he was trapped behind a boulder it seems it would make as much of a movie as the one I just seen (true story) with a man/wife left behind from a days snorkeling.. 2 of them in the water the whole movie... sad and true event so it was a lose/lose situation..

so are you saying it can potentially be very boring? :D

i think i'll watch it with my sheeple friends anyway to show them what can happen. they sometimes make fun of me when we go mountain biking and all they bring is a bare-bones camelbak and a cell phone whereas i bring my maxpedition falcon ii (pretty much my full blown hiking gear inside). 7 miles deep into the woods in the low 40s (and that's during the day) can quickly turn into a survival situation.

the commercial shows the guy riding a mountain bike so maybe i'll trick my friends into watching it, thinking it's a movie about a mountain biker :p
 
correction, not snorkeling they were left while diving..

although based on a true very sad story, it was utterly boring.. with that said still left you blown away..

I think I'd netflix it or wait for the video myself:D

It’s in my Netflix queue. I’ve seen the real story a few times. Looking forward to the movie.

That Deep Blue or whatever that scuba movie was did suck. I don’t think they’ll even compare in quality.

well if its on netflix maybe I'll watch it.. it was my wife's idea to watch the scuba deal, maybe its payback time !!!;)
