Otis - take a clue from how they were handled last weekend -- town turned out and set up for better than a block in every direction from the funeral home & cemetary - took up all the close parking spaces, too.
the WBC folks showed up, realized they couldn't get close enough to make anyone miserable, and went back home.

good luck dealing with them.
 
they couldn't get within a block of the funeral. oklahoma's outlaw chapter, baca, and some other bike groups showed up and drowned 'em out. all six of them. when they gave up and went back to their van, half a block away, they discovered the passenger side tires were inexplicably damaged. we have terrible roads ;)

close to a thousand people showed up to support the family of Sgt. Jason McCluskey. i'm glad i decided to get up this morning and walk up to help.
 
Bought a new gun today. Rem. 870, synthetic stock, 18" bbl. I'm selling off the old ones... getting better ones ! I want it for General use and bear protection. Bought some slugs and 00 buck. When I was at the gun shop, I saw this Rem 587? .22 ( looks like an AR) with red dot scope. Man , that's a nice looking gun ($700). If any of you guys have my 870 or that .22 pls. lemme know how you like it or opinions. Thanx. Pete:) I'll try to post pics when I can get my ass in gear :rolleyes:

sweet. i have a mossberg 590a1 but i rarely use it. 10 rounds of #00 buck shot and my shoulder feels like it's about to separate :eek:

First day success in firearm deer season. Gutted with an ESEE-3, going to use it for butchering as well. One of my favorite knives for game processing.

Cool vid JV3. I know it's gonna kick , but it can't be as bad as the gun I sold this morning , a 12.ga. single shot break action with a 18" barrel. I'm a pretty stocky guy and it killed my shoulder after 3-4 shots. I gave it to my wife once to shoot ( she's Filipino , about 5'3 , 140 lbs.) and she told me to F-off after firing it ,LOL :D

Ruger 10/22 coming up for Xmas ( with 25 rd. clips of course)
My higher power jobs are old school: Model 94 Win. 30-30 , Lee Enfield .303
They get the job done.:)

Crap Crap Crap. I just saw a post in the AR contest thread. I actually did use an ESEE-3 on my deer the other day but totally forgot to take pictures. Oh well my loss
 
Just got back today from my cabin, saw 4 bucks and a doe, but all were too far to shoot. Oh well. Go back again in two weeks for the whole week.

i've got a 870 too, good gun. if the recoil bothers you i'd recomend the knoxx stock, it absorbs recoil really well on a 870. that or a good recoil pad makes them alot more fun to shoot.

i've been shooting alot of buckshot out of my new shotgun its a blast to empty 10 as fast as you can pull the trigger. i'm needing a 20rnd drum mag next.
