got the gauze off on monday, wasn't too bad. like pulling an acrylic nail off from the cuticle, i suppose. its mostly stopped leaking. i'm through the antibiotics now... i was getting real tired of those horse pills.

yep, that's tinfoil sewn to my fingertip.
have to wear a splint for the next month, so i'm on light duty, no use of my right hand. i'm not ambidextrous at all. still have trouble not using my right hand because it doesn't really hurt. fun times!

A lot of family and friends had been there, and I am very glad that most all my family members reported back unharmed. One friend of our daugthers wasn't that lucky, he tripped and got trampled, he got a broken arm, a broken foot, and a broken nose, and he's black and blue all over.

I got a call this am from my mother. My great uncle has cancer. They said yesterday he has 2 months. Then today they said they might be able to operate. I don't know what the heck is going to happen. I'm trying to coordinate with family to take a trip to Chicago.
