This has been a very entertaining thread. I can only assume the fellow in question has some sort of reading comprehension problem. The alternative theory is not very complimentary.

You get an infraction(s) for using bad language and insulting people in the wrong forum, so you complain about it by using bad language and insulting people in the wrong forum again!

Beggars belief!

Averageguy, it really is time to calm down. You aren't furthering your case with these insults. I know it can be hard to keep your temper under control when you perceive that you are being wronged, but if you don't, you are going to get banned, and that seems to matter to you. Give Spark the opportunity to look into your complaint.

As you have confirmed, I didn't start with the language and personal insults - I merely reacted to it at some point like anyone would.

Can I assume you gave yourself an infraction for this "ass-raping homo"?

And precisely what was the infraction leveled at the poster who called me a "friigin Moron"?


I'm attempting to have a serious discussion and I have to put up with an asshole like Zenheretic making smart ass coments that have nothing to do with the subject - whatever.





The only thing I don't understand is why it is OK to insult me for having a different opinion.

This is the internet. I have never understood how people could feel wronged or had their feelings hurt to the extent that they could not keep a civil tongue.

State your opinion and stand back. If others disagree then so be it. Arguing on the internet is an exercise in futility.

If you spout your opinion in an internet forum you have to be prepared for others to be in disagreement. You need to have a thick skin and move on.

If you have a majority coming out against what you have posted maybe your opinion or ideas are wrong.

One possible reaction would have been to disregard the poster as juvenile and report the post to a moderator. In a heavily moderated forum like General, that's pretty much the only reaction that makes sense. Whine & Cheese is a different ballgame, but you weren't in W&C.

It was a moderator making some of these comments.

I do have a thick skin but Jones apparently doesn't. Given he provided at least one of the insults that I reacted to it doesn't seem fair when he gets hurt for him to be able to ding me 40 points.





It's up to you guys if you want to ban me - but lets be damn clear why it is happening.


I believe Chinese knives offer a good value - Mtech being one of them.
I responded to an assault on my character that was made in writing on a public forum.
It's OK for makers and moderators to misbehave but not others.


These are the facts of the case - there are no comprehension problems on my part.

These are clearly the facts of the case for you but there seems to be a large part of it your missing the point on.

Also, stop calling Zen an a-hole etc. or you will just get flung.
If you remember he kindly tried to help you with the quote function in another thread that you behaved like a child in so just give it a rest.

As far as I am concerned the infractions you have gotten from me are for the language you have been using.

Your choice, continue to do so and you will continue obtaining infractions.

If you lose your membership, it is because you lack any trace of self control or common sense.

The reason people disagree with your stance on supporting thieves, is because most people have some form of ethical standards. Your complete lack of such is something you should cope with (preferably offline since you can't stop your fingers from writing juvenile name calling and insults.)

Are you employed as some kind of online shill for those scumbag thieves at Master Cutlery?
