I was thinking the same thing. Bronze with the micarta would look great.

Mine has made it to Detroit, so I'm hoping tomorrow it will be here.

I'm having trouble with packages that go out of Indianapolis to Detroit. One package I never got. Another, took 4 weeks. I did get my 104 yesterday. I was careless opening it up and put a cut on the sleeve over the box - oh, well. The 104 is very sharp. I think it cuts paper if you just point it to some paper .

so is this 104 a take-apart? It looks like the "rivet" is not actually a rivet. I don't know what that fastener is called but it looks like a bushing that is screwed on one end. Edit: After some searching, maybe they still are called rivets.

H Happy Hippo I think they are called 'Chicago Screws' . Buck uses a D shaped sleeve and torx. They come apart easily - blue locktite on the threads. Very easy to switch handles... which is part of the appeal of this knife for me.

I'm a 104 and a micarta fan, but not really a G-10 fan. I'd buy this clip point version in a heartbeat with burlap scales.

I know what you mean. I did buy the BOTM and it is a beautiful knife - but it does feel a little plastic-y

I like the palm swell.
And the texture of the G10 has a nice grip. I prefer micarta, but this works.

It's sharp!
They did a nice job on the sheath as well.
I'm happy with it, and look forward to using it. I've been wanting a larger fixed blade with magnacut.
