Arashi no Umi Fighter

I don't think I've seen any maker mature as sharply as you have. ^^ Proof positive.

So cool. One that will stick in our minds for years. (I have that print in my main hallway.)

Thanks for showing us. I'll stay posted on the display.

Impressive photo skills, too. Working the lights and the dark areas like a boss!

That's one of the finest, if not the finest, example of a Japanese/western hybrid knife I have ever had the pleasure to lay eyes on. Nice job:thumbup:
Darcy:)

What he said. Outstanding work Stuart!

This piece displays an elite level of talent in a variety of different disciplines. The cohesive theme mingling with the fusion style creates an absolute stunner. It's gorgeous, Stuart.

I believe your greatest individual achievement here is the fuchi. Knowing how traditional fittings are made, I am completely blown away by it.

I could stare at this piece for hours and not consider it to be a wasted day.

Just went back to look at it again, so beautiful. So much though evident in the piece, elegant, subtle, deadly. Such excellent work.

I might be a little biased:D .... But I agree that this is the nicest East-West fusion that I've seen!

Every aspect of this piece has been thought out in detail and I think it presents a compelling "story"

It almost goes without saying that the execution is exceptional and the Hamon is awesome:thumbup:

Not purely a Bowie of course, but I personally think it belongs in the Best Bowie thread

Fantastic job Stuart

Love the blade shape and how the fuller and swedge grinds work together on this piece. The decorative touches and leather work are delightful. Sound like your son inherited his father's eye for artistic interpretation--fortunate lad. :)
