It's a shame that's not true. You can state a fact in the Metallurgy world, yet if it doesn't fit someone else's narrative they send you info that does fit it. It's also a shame that there are Anti-Vet folks on here happy Happy. Thank goodness they can be key-board warriors....

I get your one way or another. The carbon content of a metal defines whether a metal is true stainless or not, period.

I tried being nice. Your ignorance is showing. Other elements like nitrogen drastically increase corrosion resistance. You'd learn that if you stuck around. But toodles.

That's a discussion for another thread, and possibly sub-forum.

Here, we actually try to keep conversations on point. (At least most of the time.)

If you have trouble with that, maybe this isn't the place for you. And that anti-vet stuff is complete and utter trash. We are community of many vets, law enforcement, firefighters and many others who serve. Take that crap elsewhere. Last chance.

Anti-Vet???? Seriously! You must have eaten a bad batch of shrooms or just trying to stir up trouble. Comments and questions are usually very welcome, but not by someone coming across as extremely uninformed or a troll.

Coming here stating "facts" doesn't seem like learning. I don't know who you're referring to as anti vet either? What rep were you referring to?

Honestly I never came here to cause trouble or be a troll. I wanted to come here to be with like-minded individuals but it seems like everything. I've said i've got in trouble for. I dropped the comment let my Bravo one has been in a lot of life savings situations with me. Then I was somewhat ridiculed and told that I shouldn't have anything like that other than for a third grade recess. Honestly how would you feel. I understand everyone here hates bark river knives but that's not the reason to attack the new guy. I do understand that and I will do better. Getting jumped for your opinion just really sucks.
 
Tops needs to come up with another puukko design. The tanimboca got close but just didn't nail it with that downward crook blade that sits asymmetrically off of the handle.

Since the person who developed MagnaCut participates on the forums regularly and offers his expertise regarding many topics of metallurgy, and there has been much information discussed- there are many threads/posts to look at via a quick search.
