Well if so, post here and introduce yourself!
The BK&T subforum gets a lot of traffic.
New guys (and gals) are always welcomed.
If you've been lurking here's your chance to say hello!

...as you can see by my excessively high post count I'm no lurker, but I've never introduced myself here. My names Kirby, I'm a 14 year old knife nut, I like music, knives, old tools, and fresh air. My humor is hit or miss at best...if you're kind enough to categorize my attempts at amusing / witty comments as humor! At the moment I'm a folder guy, but a stripped tweener with micarta scales and some 710 kydex is on my mind. Unfortunately my imagination is bigger than my wallet! working on that. ;)

I "lurked" for a long time and recently jumped in with both feet! I have been very impressed with all the mods I've seen people do to Beckers on this forum (looking forward to starting my first one soon - the blade in question arrives tomorrow) and how encouraging and constructive people's feedback has been. I've lurked on some other forums here and don't feel the same sense of community I see here on BK&T, IMHO.

Agreed...there's something very special about this subforum

Oh, I pounce on BL&T's whenever I get the chance. I wouldn't call that lurking though...huh? Oh, wait...

I'm relatively new to this site - I'm a long time blade addict that goes into "recovery"...only to fall off the wagon again at some point.
I no longer have any of my first knives; but I've had some for 20+ yrs. Some are users; some I'm content to just have...when I get in buying mode, I don't always consider practicality...wanting is good enough.

Been lurking for a while. Finally registered but not a big poster as you can see. I would like to say thank you to all the regs in this sub-forum. I was looking for a new camp knife and stumbled in here via a google search. I could tell that Becker's were special after just a few minutes. The excitement, love and attachment the users have with the Becker's was readily apparent. Dove right in and ordered the King (and his little sheath buddy). The knife is changing my life on a daily basis. I am currently looking for a large log to keep in my apartment as my 9 prefers to be solidly lodged in a piece of wood instead of stored in the sheath. If not for my strong will power it would have me hack thru the wall rather than use the door and I have no doubt it could.

I know we all love pics so here is a poor quality pic. I was taking some low light gangsta pics to send to my brother in Louisiana.

Next Becker may be a necker, but the BK3 keeps calling.

I'm a Beckerhead (#169) and I mostly lurk, unless you visit the "Move your butt" thread. I visit the forum daily but I don't post much.

The correct adjective for me would not be "lurker" more like "resident Canadian squatter"....

Hello to all the people hiding out there!

My names marc and I'm 17. I'm new to the forums and the bk lineup. I have been carrying a bk17 as an etc because I live near a town of under 500 people and work out side a lot. Getting ready to order the bk16. Love em all.

Don't think you'll go wrong either way. I have the Necker's cousin, the Eskabar (same blade, different handle) and it's fantastic. I have the BK3 also and love it. I beat on it a little this past weekend and I'm planning some mods for it in the near future.

I have made a few posts here in the BK&T forum but have never introduced myself before. My name is Patrick and I live in southwest Ohio, originally from north Texas (hope to get back to Texas at some point). I love being outside no matter what I am doing be it hunting, fishing, hiking, or camping. I really enjoy all manner of edged tools, and this summer I am going to be doing a BK16 project to see if it is possible to make a value priced production knife into my ideal woods knife.

I was inspired by your BK3 post Semper. I bought a couple of the EOD Robotics "Beater Bars" to play with and found them useful in times when I didn't want to hurt my Becker. They are ok but not quite long enough and hard to hold. I kind of forgot about the BK3 until your post and now I must get one. Will also get a necker for those times when I must go without pants.

I can't seem to get my becker head status . Dunno what that's all about . Not gonna stop me from collecting beckers though.
