Are you a BK&T lurker?..

Hello everyone!First post,, I'm from the Philippines and been lurking here. Please go easy on me because English is not my first language. I got my first beckers last December, a BK2, BK15, BK16, and Bk14. I'm hoping to learn more from you guys!:)

Hey welcome, and don't worry...from reading a lot of the posts, doesn't seem like English is the first language for a few of us :)

Been lurking for awhile.
Still thinking about getting a Magnum camp, stripping it, sharpening the swedge, and getting macarta handles for it (perhaps making some?).

I think it would be cool... from a lurking standpoint.

Welcome guys! Don't worry about your English. If you speak Becker that's good enough for us.

My Name is Kyle, from Wisconsin. This is my very first post. I have always had pocket knives, but this past December I got hooked pretty hard. Found this place and lurk here like it is my job. I have a BK2 that I have been using around the house and on some hikes. Love it. Drool over the 14 and the 9, but keep getting the side-eye from the wife. Soon they will be mine.

Cheers,
Kyle

Welcome 795

We are happy to be the ones to bring you out of your 14 month lurk mode.

Hmm not sure if I'm a lurker or not My forklift company (Portman Equip.)serviced his equipment when his shop was in Covington Ky and acquired one of his earlier Machax,s, this was in the 80s and my machax is resting within a hand reach currently. It went on every camping or hunting trip until I became disabled. It fufilled every need I asked of it. I'd buy one of his new knives but it would only be a shelf queen until my upcoming back surgery takes place and I am mobile again.

I was inspired by your BK3 post Semper. I bought a couple of the EOD Robotics "Beater Bars" to play with and found them useful in times when I didn't want to hurt my Becker. They are ok but not quite long enough and hard to hold. I kind of forgot about the BK3 until your post and now I must get one. Will also get a necker for those times when I must go without pants.

Glad the post was helpful. The 3 is great blade!

Welcome, Elrond! My grandfather was stationed in the Philippines during WWII and went on a couple of missionary trips there after the war as well. I'm also fairly new to the Becker line (purchased my first one last November), but have a 2, 3, and two 14's (one of them for an upcoming mod job).

Welcome to all the new guys!!

I think the BK&T sub forum needs a sticky for new guy introductions. I think that's how lots of forums do it.

I know I lurked for a long while. Finally signed up, not to really be part of the forum and post, but to see the pictures that are uploaded thru the forum that only members can see. I soon found it to be an awesome place to hang out and really helped sparked my interest and addiction to knives again. Lots of really great people here and lots of great info.

Hey guys I've been posting here for a while but have never really introduced myself, my names Thomas and im 16,I got my first Becker,a bk10, in August since then I have also picked up a bk4 but I'm really looking at a 17 and a 12.
