Are You A HOG?. . . .

every time i see this pic i want to renounce being a hog and become a porker. :)

I am a HOG at heart, but sadly lack the funds to be one in reality. Of course, I'm a college kid, and once I graduate, get a job, and start making money, my sad 4 piece collection (2 Busse's, a Rat and Dog) will turn into something worthy of being a HOG.

Apostrophe!

Try not to confuse me. I'm on my third George Dickel. They've run out of Dickel #8, and I'm trying to drink up all the remaining stock before anyone else gets to it. :p A recent postcard from the distillery:

Sorry Bro but I got somthing I really wanted in Satin. If the Proto would have been Satin I would have kept it. I traded an ASH1 today as well. :)

Kelly, you traded MY Proto Bowie!:mad:

 Ah well, no regrets, thanks for giving me a shot at it.
Was that your complete haul from Blade West!?!?! OMG Ya Porker !
My daughter is already making a list of my knives that SHE wants.

I don't know if I am a HOG but ever since I bought that badger, I am addicted to refreshing your EDITEDfactory store site to try and score a black and tan badger, I am pissed that I missed blade west, red with fury that i missed the black and tans by one day, enraged you hid EDITED in the east and did not make a drive to the southwest to hide EDITED exclusively for me, and will never own another brand of fixed blade knife again. Now where the hell is my scrofa???? :D:D

Really, thank you for making such an addicting work of art. I wish I found this site sooner

I used and abused my first Busse knives years ago and became hooked on them because I found NOTHING better as a hard use knife at any price. I began to justify reasons for acquiring more Busse blades. I have great pride in my collection of Busse blades and prize them over any other collection I have. I've quietly collected them over the years and occasionally have posted a few pics of some of them. My collection has grown because I can't bear to get rid of any of them. - Even if I have 20 or more of one style! The only way I've ever felt comfortable letting one go was when I helped some else get a blade that they may not be able to obtain otherwise (really!). Selling one is just painful!
It's a thrill to see fellow Busse nuts get the blade that they want but it's even more of a thrill for me to get the blade that I want! :D I don't know if all this makes me a Hog but I sure do love to hog the INFI as much as my wallet allows! I'll never even get close to some of the collectors here but It's not a race to me. It's just getting what I can! It would be great if I were to be inducted one day, but what's more important to me is to be able to continue to acquire INFI to satisfy my hunger for it. I don't know if I'll ever be truly satisfied but I'll keep trying. I'll let you know if the 20 ASH1s I plan to get does the trick!:D:D

I guess I am the flip side of the Busse challenge coin here. I have found that just two or three choice pieces of INFI more than cover all my edged wants and needs.

It's the "using" of INFI that drives my hunger.

Gotta watch the language we use as this is a family forum. . .

Thanks!

Just a Binge Piglet here! I splurge here and there at the BC store, especially taking glee in the virtual stampede of F5 and scoring!!! Also biding the time when the next I must have offering comes into play from Jerry kicks in ( Dang soon now!! ). Usually I'm in the background enjoying the fine banter of the blogs learning a lot from so many knowledgeable people. Thanks! Can't wait for my kids to get old enough to go camping and trying out some INFI!
