Are you gifting a knife for Christmas?

The last knife I gave my dad was a Boker Kalashnikov auto. He always carried a traditional slip joint and as he got older it was hard for him to open them. He loved the little auto and carried it all the time. Its a great little knife that wont break the bank.

After a LOT of thought and research I've decided to get my brother a Lion Steel SR2a. He doesn't quite share my love for knives, though he does appreciate their usefulness and the practicality of carrying one. I'm hoping that this will be the knife that allows him to appreciate them like I do (though this is just me being hopeful as I've never actually handled one).

Also, he's a wood/metal worker so I think he'll appreciate he aluminum construction. Plus...we're Italian, so he has to appreciate it for that reason as well.

I'm gifting spyderco dragonfly to my brother and 2 dragonfly wooden kits to my nephews 11 & 8 years old and my
1year Old son. so it will be there first knife. Me my son and my brother and his 2 sons will all have the same knife.

I gifted a Spyderco ROC to fellow Straight Razor Collector.... I loved mine and he loves his!

Well.... i plan on getting my dad a Ka-bar Dozier. However i did receive a Boker kalashnikov 74 liner lock Damascus version from my customer that i've worked with for a longtime!

For my guys that work under me and constantly cut down boxes I picked up a few Kershaws (Cryo & Injection 3.0). My best friend's son, I got him a Kershaw Thermite since he is getting into knives and liked messing around with some of the flippers I own.

I bought my son an LT Wright GNS Saber grind. It's the knife he picked. I also bought a puck for a friend who just picked up a couple of vintage axes.

No. But I dropped some pretty good dough on the wife, so justification for some additional redundant toys would be easy.

Need to see if Dad has found the folder I gave him a while back. If lost, then he'll get another. Darn golf course eats more pocketknives!

Gotta get him a golf course specific knife
If it becomes an integral part of his game, it'll always be on hand, regularly used along the way, and thus less prone to get forgot about in the pocket and lost, out of site out of mind until it's too late and too much ground to cover...

I ended up grabbing a good friend of mine at work a Cold Steel Finn Wolf, it just showed up today. I'm going to give it to him before end of day.

Probably going to get my father in law a Spyderco Tasman Salt with the serrated edge. He spends a few months a year fishing in Mexico so I think it will serve him well. He's hard as shit to buy for since he basically already has everything.

Sure am, I just picked up a Buck Limited for my dad. Red Apple Corral scales and mokume bolsters, I carry one already so now we will have a matching edc.
