Strung up the hammock in the backyard last night. Slept pretty good except for the occasional and unidentified crashing terror crunching leaves around me. Probably a rabbit.
It was supposed to get in the mid 40's last night so I put a windshield reflector between layers to save heat. Should have got a bigger one, as it wasn't quite wide enough.
Also, I need to find a better sleeping bag than my Walmart special. Some research is in order.

How many of you guys will put your own edge on a knife straight out of the box?
I'm debating re-profiln'n my 5102. There is a 1cm spot from the tip down where the grind is like 90 degrees inclusive. Yes, it may add to the tip strength but its slightly annoying for some EDC tasks.

I have a couple of Ka-Bars like that. I thought it was a slight mistake from the factory grind where the swedge didn't quite line up. I'd say go for it. It's too much trouble for me to redo the whole thing with my Smiths but I've done a few later on. I just reprofiled my 1264. Took 2 evenings but its so damn sharp now. The tip was smashed a bit when I bought it so I just fixed that and kept going.
