In other news... if you were going to design a sheath for a basic tomahawk, so you could carry it around all day safely and comfortably, what features would you want?

I think I would want something to cover the sharp part. And a bottle opener.

I will dig up some pictures of some that i have made as well as my brother had made. If you are too worried about the sharp part of the hawk and don't want a sheath just bash the edge in a rock. Then you don't have to bother with the sheath. :D

Yeah... no. Lemme explain entertainment (and every other business) to ye... ya contributed nothing, therefore you get nothing. You pay US to see it happen. ;)

No, I contributed the wear your underdrawers until they rot off idea. I'm going to sue you for copyright infringement. :D

Something where the hawk is secure but still very easily accessible. One or two snaps that can be pulled and then it's out.

Saw this today and laughed.

I'd want a gorgeous woman carrying it for me... Then using it for me too... Oh yea.. Fully nude :D

Really depends on size of the hawk, and if I'm using it as a camp tool or a thrower. I went through several sheaths looking for the best throwing hawk sheath. But as a camp tool, most sheaths functioned great.

I do like the sheaths where the head drops in from above and then a strap/snap secures it...

What's up fellas!

Just wanted to give you Beckerheads a heads up that I listed a few of my custom Beckers in the exchange.

Here is the Link

Will probably put what's left up on the bay tomorrow.

Thanks guys.

my preference is a simple mask to cover the edge and a separate piece similar to a flashlight carrier that attaches to your belt.
That way if I want to use the hawk as a hammer, the edge is still covered -- and if I want to sit down, I don't have to fight the hawk handle.
for examples:

I was wearing rotten garments long before you were born, son. Go ahead, sue me! :D

That's nice. I'm working on a one-piece thingamamob, not two separate thingamabobs.

You may have been doing that, but I have been perfecting the art since I was old enough to know what rotten means. I even drew up plans for a pair of underdrawers that fall cleanly into six pieces when fully rotted. My lawyers will be in touch. :p

Are they in production? I'll buy a couple pair!!

Sadly, they are not. The only ones in existence are owned by me, sitting in a glass case, with three large padlocks and it's own specialized security system. I would post a photo but my lawyers (who JT will be hearing from! :D) say that the underpants may be too wonderful for your typical human bean to witness without risk of an awesomeness-induced heart attack. It's just too much liability to showcase them.

Kind of a new twist on the ole chastity belt. Lock on the underwear, underwear under lock & key......why do all the really savage undergarments have to be locked up?

Had some friends that used to be with the rural volunteer fire department and they responded to a lot of chimney fires. I guess people forgot that you need to clean them every so often. I say just get rid of the chimney and the wall and the roof and the house and just live outside next to a burning pile of wood. Think of how much easier your life would be if you didn't have to clean and maintain and make payments on a house.

roofs are handy in the Winter too ;)

if you burn good good dry dry clean clean wood... cleaning the chimney may not be required as much... or even year to year. so i'm told.

i have a moisture meter thingy. i was testing different wood from vendors. some in the low single digit %, some in the low doubles. one guy was swearing up and down his stuff was super seasoned. nope. pretty wet. didn't even "clink" when smacked. it should really sound quite "brittle"/etc. nope. heavy too.

Clearly we have progressed (regressed?) past the point where mere lawyers can settle this dispute. I invite you to meet me at dawn sometime in the future, at a location of your choosing, to hash this out with blades, old-school dueling style.

If I'm not there, go ahead and start without me... :D

until one starts drinking heavily one does not know a truly evil shart

...a truly evil shart...

Is there any other kind?

I mean really now... I don't know of any example where someone described or enjoyed a friendly, hopeful shart with a wonderful attitude and a gleaming sparkly desire to help mankind ...
