I just got a pleasant surprise. The Machete I ordered a while back that was supposed to be here on Friday showed up at my door today... Sunday.
When it didn't show yesterday I was a little bummed thinking about this thread and wondering where it could be as the tracking was not updated in several days.
I have new found hope for the USPS.

People just don't seem to understand that its the holidays, witch is causing this madness/delays. I had a customer call us on Friday when his package did not arrive even-tho the tracking info stated it was out for delivery. I had to call UPS and all they could tell me was that it was out for delivery. Long story short the customer got his package that night at around 8pm. I really wanted to tell him to go pound sand but just kept a cheerful voice. Although with the situation you explained and not having any status updates, that would make me a bit worried.
