Arkansas Custom Knife Show 2013 - Show Us what you Got

I got this in an email from Ben Seward yasterday and I know it will be on his table. I hope Ben will chime in with the details. I also hope to see a pro image of this knife soon.

Sorry for the small size image, I am having issues using flickr for some reason.

I am going to have a hard time staying at my table with all the cool stuff there is to see

AWESOME folder Bruce! The others are not too shabby either:D

Brian Hochstrat does some GREAT work and your damascus is OUTSTANDING!

Wishing I were in Arkansas about now...in the throngs of a brewing BLIZZARD here in the northeast:eek:

Very Nice Bruce, maybe we can shoots craps at the Banquet. I look forward to seeing that piece up close. Are you bringing any shooters?

Bill

Bruce - terrific pieces across the board. Love the gambler's dagger in particular.

It'll be easy for me to shed some drool on Bruce's stuff, his table's right behind me. Nice pieces Bruce.

The UPS man was good to me today - and will be on Monday, too! ;)
First is a Stag Take-down Bowie with hot-blued ladder Damascus and hot blued fittings.
And this photo is to showcase Scott Teaschner's leather craftsmanship that is simply mind blowing.
Impeccable tooling.

This sheath is for a laddered Damascus take-down hunter with a stabilized Feather Walnut handle. (I still need to hot-blue the blade.)

Thanks for posting Chris...I'm having Flickr issues too. This little chopper falls in at 15 in. overall, W2 w/hamon, and African black wood. See y'all at the show.

Bill, I've been trying to figure out Craps. I weighted one set of these dice to land on #7 . I get that set :)

I,m bringing the Attor 50 caliber Horsemans axe. It's unengraved but looks pretty mean.

Bruce, I 'll cover your back with the shooter while you roll those loaded dice. I'll bring a couple 50 cal. 460 gr. conicals and some bk. powder to load er up with. ;)

See you Friday.

Bill

Going to be a great show, really looking forward to it. I haven't been to a knife show since Little Rock last year.

:) It's a little late in the game but yesterday I decided that I wasn't 100% satisfied with my competition cutting knife so I decided to start on another. This will actually be #3. The blade on the first was a little too light for what I wanted and I after two attempts on H/T'ing a monosteel blade from W2, I decided that I just wasn't satisfied. I'm still not sure why it was fighting me but I finally threw in the towel and started over. This one has a 400 layer damascus of 1084 & 15N20. These are the steels that I use the most and was a lot more confident in H/T'ing to what I want.

I got the guard forged today into a half-penny style. Hopefully all will come together in time for the competition on Friday.
